I had tests recently for sti`s all clear (no chlamydia, gonnoerhea, syphlyss, hiv or trich) except high values of white cells in the urine. My doctor has prescribed doxycycline and i have taken the course for 7 days. Yesterday i noticed I passed cloudy urine so would this indicate the infection is still there. My partner was also tested but all the above her tests were negative, no infection found.
We had intercourse since so would she now have to be tested again?

White Cells in Urine

Well, the infection might be anything. It's unlikely she has anything you were tested for, since you appeared to be negative.

Can nsu be tested for in women?, Is nsu only reliably found in men?
-
No, women can have it at least as much as men. NSU just means a disease of the urethra that doesn't have a specific name.

In the absence of Chlamydia, gonnerhea, (both tests were negative), how is nsu detect in a woman? is there a specific test?
-
Usually the sypmtoms or examination show the urethra is inflamed. Then they do tests for gonorrhoea and chlamydia. If these come back negative, it's NSU. They can do tests for the other bacteria that cause NSU.
