I think everyone is misreading one thing, that or I am...he said install a new shower, not fix the old one.anyone here beisdes me ever install a new shower?its a good all day and if you dont know what your doing, 2 day job.as a renter you have rights, as a landlord and owner you have rights and obligations.I did alot of work for preious landlords and it wa taken off my rent, but its the legal responsability of the landord to providef certain things, it is also the responsability of a landlord to fix things that need fiing and alot of those things are required by law to be there and functioning.it varys from state to state but the same general rules apply.its not his problem to fix the shower or to help fix it, no repairs are requred by tenants, only upkeep is required, cleaning and shit like that, if its a yard its spoelled in the lease if upkeep is required by the land lord or tenant.It really is not his problem, or obligation or even being a good buddie to help install a shower. it is the landlords, You can ll piss on him if you like but he is under no obligation to do shit aside from clean up after himself and pay his rent.if its a whole new shower being installed and any pipes have to be run, its required by law that a licenesed plumber do the work, or the homeowner does it if he feel scompintant to do it. not his renters. it is even less of line problem as he rents a room in a house an not a whole house.like I said you can all piss on him all yout guys want to, but in this case he is right, Id bitch too then Id rfuse and tell them to stick it in his ass.if anything it only helps to berak my lease legally and save me the early out fees. a renter is not a part owner nor is he a buddy that you ask to help ya out on a job aroun the house. its a business deal, business does not include helping perform maintence on the house you pay to lilve in. If you cant handle the responsability of those obligations, you have no fucking business to be a land lord or own a rental. IV been a lanlor, Iv been a renter ad im here to tell ya lines is right, th landlord is fucked up. He coul offer to pay lines to perform the work and take it off the rent, but lines is under no obligastion at all to do any of it and can refuse any offered deal to reduce rent or pay him or what ever it is that gets offered.EDIT:on a side note, if its that bad and food al lover and stains that only get worse rather then handled, I would call the local health department, if they agree they can shut it down and break your lease for you. Iv done that one myself in th past on a house I rented after it flooded and they rfused to do shit aside from use a shop vac on the capret and it smelled like mold. I called, they cam, they condemmed the house, I was out my lease scott free.

he cant stop you, but he can file a claim against you and cause to end up being in court and maybe get a judgment against you over it. If your going to do it, dont be a stupid bastard, do it right, use laws to your advantage rather then just being a dick, be a dick, your the one that will end up in court with a judgment against you and paying fees plus court costs.

I agree not everyone who plays World of Warcraft is a social reject but this kid is. He doesn't leave the house except for work and school and his only visitors are his weird parents who I blame for making him that way. And he's always watching Star Trek or other sci-fi loser shows. Whenever I walk past him he tries to engage me in some discussion about the crap he's watching "Why is it that they beam them up?", "Gee I really don't know," I say while walking away as fast as I can.
Ever thought of taking out the trash (which I am sure you helped fill)? Cleaning the toliet which I am sure you used? There are certian things you could do if you are proactive.I am sure there are other things in the house that are wrong or needs fixed but there are certain things you can do to make things better. but I have this feeling you think you are too good to clean a toilet or take out the trash.
I didn't mess any of it up. The lease says I have shared use of the kitchen, living, dining, and laundry areas but I am unable to utilize them because they're disgusting and I refuse to clean up their messes. I talked to the landlord asking him to ask them to clean up and I don't know what happened. I also talked to both of the other renters and they don't care. In addition they are loud, obnoxious, inconsiderate, and they don't even have cars so they always bother me for a ride. They don't even have phones or computers so they always try to use mine and lately I've just been making excuses as to why they can't.
there is nothing wrong with helping, but that is a choice, as a renter you have no obligation to do so, asking with out offering some type of ompensation is bulshit on the landlords part.morally, or legally, he has no obligation to help at all.Lines:sometimes pics work, sometimes not, Id cal the health board and file a complaint, they will investigate and see what they decide, but Id take pics, write own everything that happened, date it incllude times for converations, witnesses all that shit, Iv been to court many times for many reasons, its having all the facts at your disposal and the other people not having shit that wins cases. if you can nail times an days and they say well sometime in the firt half of december... it helps you and hurts them.
I have cleaned up the entire house numerous times, messes that were not mine. I even scrubbed the toilet and sink once and 2 hours later the sink was caked with afro hair grease. He also cuts his hair and leaves the clumps of "velcro" everywhere on the floor. The trash in the kitchen isn't mine, I have my own trash can upstairs. Also they never take out trash on trash day, lately I've always been doing it. Just the other day I stopped cleaning up everything that is not mine, I say fuck it and let it get disgusting.
Than the easy solution is to give your landlord a 30 day notice stating the house is unsanitary and you need to leave or he has those 30 days to get the place back into sanitary conditions. Giving him a 30-day notice gives him enough time to find a replacement for you.
I don't want to live here even if it were sparkling.
Than simply give him a 30-day notice and see what he says. If anything if he does take you to court you at least have it on your side that you gave him notice instead of skipping out on him and making him lose money.

take pics, record everything that happens in one week.
after that print all the pics and label them print out hte entire complaint, dont use fuck shit piss pussy cockscuker and other words I love when you write it, be professional.
be sure to incllude that you have complained numerous times to the kid in charge and nothing has happened with it.
ftake that whole package an ame a photo copy of it and mail the copy to yourself, now you have a registered post mark dated copy of when you documentd the complaint, never open the envelope, thats your ass saver if it goes to court, let the judge open it you leave it the fuck alone.
mail the other copy to that kids parents, sned it certified so they have to sign for itf and you get a reciept, it costs evtra but they can not deny getting it in the future.
keep a third copy i a safe place to present to the courts if need be eplaining and outlining your complaint, if you have to pull the sealed envelope out of your ass and it all matches whats inside your complaint that was turned in, you now "have em by the balls"

If you do not have the means and knowledge to own a rental and keep up the work and the balls to deal wiht problem renters, then you shouldnt be allowed to have the rental to begin with, fuck shitty landlords, Iv dealt with my share and they are a real problem, so ar shitty renters, fuck them too.
renting a room in a house maes it worse as they all affect the community rooms, kitchen, bathroom, all that sort of shit.if the landlord does nothing about REAL LIFE ACTUAL PROBLEMS AN CONCERNS then they are at fault.

what you want is irrelevant in the eyes of a court in braking a lease. what is safe, sanitary, an acceptable that leads to you NEEDING to move is.fdocument shit for a week, mail the shit, call the health department. make sure you leave everyones mess, but do not add to it, if they can prove you did some of it and left it, its your ass not thiers. Yeah, I'm going to double-check the house and get rid of any mess that may be mine, the only thing I can think of is a cardboard mini-fridge box I collapsed and placed in the trash area, which really is nothing compared to anything else here. A broken subwoofer I have in the living room from when I had a party and it stopped working, simple, just throw it away I guess, I don't think I have anything else.Plus one of the tenants smells, his smell transfers to everything. He doesn't shower because he doesn't buy his own soap and shampoo, he always used to steal mine before I decided to keep it in my bedroom rather than the bathroom. I've also considered setting up a webcam in my room to record any intrusions because I have a suspicion one of the black people is stealing drinks from my fridge, I used to keep food in the kitchen but now I horde it all in my room so they don't steal it...
