Driving test

Best tip I can give you is to take a deep breath and don't get too nervous. I fail my test because I got sooo nervous that I screwed myself up.So deep breaths to calm the nerves =-D
-
Look araound, pay attention to speed, intersections etc.. use all your mirrors, relax.
-
You failed? Wow, I would have never guessed!! Ya know, with the 4 crashes in 2 days thing...
-
Hey! it was 5 accidents thank you! And none of them were my fault =-P LoL
-
I failed my driving test the first time. In Ohio they have a maneuverability test requiring you to drive between two cones and then reverse to the starting position, I fucked up and ran over 2 lol, and then passed a stop sign. At least Ohio doesn't make you parallel park.
-
I passed the maneuverability with no problem. I made my mistake when I came to a stop sign where I couldn't see past bushes so I kept goings to where I could see past the bushes and stopped. That was an automatic failure. Proper procedure was stop in front of stop sign, than inch forward to where you can see and stop again than proceed if there is no incoming traffic.
Oops my bad LoL.

my test went like this....okay done...lol I had some old chinese woman and she said she wanted to go to lunch, so it was a 2 minute road test..lol

Also in driver's ed the teacher kept stressing preiodically that the test administrators were out to trick you so you would fail, she said a trick they used was to go and ask you to enter your car, start it up, and pull it around and if you do that you automaically fail because you don't have your license yet and can't drive alone. When I took the test the first time, I was sure they would try to trick me somehow, the deputy told me to enter my car, put my seatbelt on, and start it up and I didn't listen correctly and thought she was trying to trick me like the drivers ed lady told me they would. I said "Well I can't do that," and she got so pissed and said "You didn't listen carefully I told you just to enter your vehicle and start it up."After I failed maneuverabilty and then passed a stop sign on the way back to the DMV, she told me that she wasn't trying to trick me and the deputies aren't even allowed to do that anyways. I felt stupid for awhile.

Haha, I live in Ohio too. I hit the cones and still passed.
-
hahahaha it says Cleveland...lol
-
lol did not catch that it was directed at white lines too.
-
Cleveland=Hell in my opinion.
-
I'm in Crackron to be exact

I think you can bump them but if they fall over it's a fail. I actually reversed and drove over two of them. Also when I meant to reverse I accidentally put it into neural and stepped on the gas and the engine just revved up but I didn't move until i figured out I wasn't in reverse. I got points taken off for that too. My first attempt was just a disaster, did perfect though my second chance.
-
It depends a lot on the person giving you the test too. I got points taken off for not being able to start the stupid truck on the first turn. I mean WTF??? it was an old truck. Got points taken off for crossing the center line on a turn and failed becasue I went through a blind intersection at 25MPH.Here's my biggest suggestion. I did this with my wife when she went for her driving test. Go to the DMV and follow the other people taking the test a couple of times and see what they do and where they go. That way you will be comfortable with the area and you can look out for any tricky areas where you can get caught.

ok sorry for leaving it but i passed just barely then went out the first day with my license and got lost but no big deal,as for the manueverability bit i passed the first two parts but failed the parallel parking because i was nervous as hell and forgot what to do,but then on the road road test i was also nervous as hell and because of my mom worrying to much didnt know the area and it was at like 5 o clock and rush hour in downtown grand rapids (if you live near or go there youll know its hell) and the guy was a jackass just sitting there occasionally barking orders and writing crap down which didnt help but in the end he started telling me all the things i did wrong (which in a normal case i wouldve passed alot better had i known the area) and throughout that little lecture i felt like smashing his head into the dashboard which i think thinking of it helped to not do it because he was an ass but he passed me and i had to refrain from yelling "NOW GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY CAR ASSWAD" but yeah that was hell
