mine is clear, is that normal? isnt is supposed to be white?
-
What color is sperm supposed to be?
-
When you first start being able to cum it can be clear instead of white, because not all the glands may be working. Later on it becomes white - well, whitish.
-
what about semen?
-
That which you ejaculate/cum IS semen.
-
wait im confused. my curent dictionary.Sperm- A liquid stored in the scrotumSemen- a MIX of liquids stored in the uretha.Cum- Spermejaculation- realese of semen or sperm? Is that all right?
-
if thats right what color is semen?
-
Not quite right, someonetwo. Sperm are microscopic tadpole-shaped wriggling live organisms, whose purpose is to carry half your DNA and fertilise the woman's egg (which carries half her DNA). Even under a microscope you need high magnification to see them. Have a look at focus's avatar (for example in this post). They are produced in the testicles, and carried in a fluid mixture produced by various glands. The whole mixture is called semen and released through the urethra on ejaculation.
-
well how can sperm not have the fluids? r u saying sperm is basically a synonym for semen?
-
Sperm is spermatozoa(the actual live cells), however semen is:
semen n.
A viscous whitish secretion of the male reproductive organs, containing spermatozoa and consisting of secretions of the testes, seminal vesicles, prostate, and bulbourethral glands. Also called seminal fluid. -
No, I'm saying that sperm is the little organisms that swim in the semen.People do, however, often say "sperm" when they really mean "semen".
-
You can have semen without sperm, and while you can also have sperm without semen, semen is necessary to carry and deliver the sperm. For example, if a guy either through a vasectomy or through other natural causes is unable to release sperm (the cells which along with a female egg produce pregnancy and are produced in the testicles), he can still ejaculate semen. There just won't be any sperm cells swimming in the fluid (which is produced by the prostate gland). However, if your body can't produce the liquid which we call semen, it has no means to deliver the sperm cells to the awaiting female egg. When you first begin to ejaculate the semen (cum) is normally clear because it contains few if any sperm cells. Later the semen will be white (or whiteish) as a rule. If you go a long time without ejaculating, you may find your semen to be more yellowish.
-
lol sperm and semen are the same thing! hahahaha!
-
Er, no.
-
im still confused. dont u need sperm to make a woman pregnent? if u cant produce sperm ur semen cant get the sperm it needs th fertilise the egg right?
-
lol sperm and semen are the same thing! No it isn't....When a guy gets a vasectomy, his tubes are cut & tied and thus has no sperm that goes into the proper ducting. What he ejaculates though is "semen" without any sperm in it.
-
Yes, if your semen contains no sperm (as, for example, after you've had a vasectomy) then everything feels the same but you can't get a woman pregnant.
-
right
-
My mom is a product of a vasectomy. But with those, vasectomies, a man has to get out his live and active sperm, which will still be there for a few months after the surgery.
-
That's true. A vasectomy is not an instant license to be reckless. It does take time for all the sperm in the pipeline to work through.
-
it generally takes a month or two at the most, depending on how much a man cums during that time, to get an all clear after a vasectomy.
