Yeah, so I was just wondering what you guys thought about this. If you don't read them all, it's cool. Before you ask, yes, I live in Oklahoma. I live about 34-40 minutes away from Purcell. It's just north of my farm in Paoli, Oklahoma. What do you think should be done to him?1st Degree Murder: Kevin Ray Underwood in Jamie Rose Bolin Case Kevin Underwood: Another Deadly Blogger? Added to the Blogroll of Evil: Kevin Ray Underwood For those of you that don't want to read it at all here's the story in as simple a version as I can possibly make it. The guy killed and raped a little girl and was going to eat her. He made a blog about he hoped the little girl was all right and how he didn't have anything to do with it. Later the police found the girl in a blue storage bin in his closet with deep saw marks on her neck. The confiscated barbecue skewers, a cutting board, and meat tenderize amongst other things from his apartment. The little girl he murdered lived in the aparment above him with her father.

This Makes Me Sick
-
Read about it in the papers...guess it was considered disgusting enough to be worth telling on the other side of the atlantic. Bad stuff indeed.
-
he should be left alone with the girls dad. maybe that's just the dad in me talking
-
okay SO I thought about our discussion....I would react as a good father should...the guy would have no heartbeat.
-
Omg thats so freaking scary and tragic.yeah. if i was her father. i'd kill the guy right then and there. seriously.
-
How could anyone let him stay alive? I would torture the fucker then burn him alive. Damn that makes me sick. I'm surprised that the police didn't kill him, maybe the judge will.
A story in our own community got me angry too, it goes like this...
Out on bail
A Morden murder case still awaits a trial dateFriday April 21, 2006
Morden Times --- A local man is now free on bail while awaiting trial for the murder of a two-year-old Morden boy.
Beyan Dunnoh Clarke was recently released on $5,000 bail by Manitoba Queen's Bench Justice Albert Clearwater.
Clarke, 23, was ordered to abide by a 7 p.m. curfew, abstain from drugs and alcohol and live in Winnipeg with family while he awaits trial.
The case remains on remand with no trial date set as of yet.
Clarke was charged with second degree murder last month after a police investigation into the February 15 death of Alfred Sirleaf.
The investigation found Sirleaf, whose family immigrated to Canada from Africa last year, died as a result of trauma to his body. Police said the child suffered multiple injuries over an unspecified period of time.SEE here in Canada we have no laws to protect children. This man used extension cords, belts, and other objects to attemp to kill this baby and finnaly suceeded by beating the life out of her. Would it be wrong for me to shoot this person in the head if I see him? Damn I wish the bad guys would get the justice they deserve...DEATH ASAP

We will see when America will obliviate you, i really dont know why they just dont send about 1000 troops to take this place it would make such a nice village for America the it can perceft its laws.
-
This post is not about another war so I don't know exactly what you're talking about. All the guy above you said was that Canada does not have laws that protect children. And all I did was ask what people thought should be done with the sick bastard who thought killing, raping, and eating a ten year old little girl could possibly be fun. Is that a problem for you or something? If so, oh well. I can't make everyone happy.
-
hey you are supposed to be getting ready to go or already be out...That is sad about Canadas laws...
-
I think unsupervised's idea is the best one that could possibly be offered.
-
that seriously makes me cringe thinking about that situation.
-
Dude, what are you talking about? Canada does have laws in place to protect children and we usually do a good job of it. Our crime rates are actually quite positive in comparison to those of the US on average. If the police would have possibly known about this child before he died then this man could have been stopped, but unless you have a better way of allowing police to track down cases like this there's not much that could have been done. What we don't have is harsh enough punishment for the serious offenders: the serial killers, child abusers, and rapists who deserve far worse than they get. They just get back out on the streets and too many of them turn into repeat offenders. Perhaps the benefit of the doubt is good for those people who truly act as good citizens and positive youth role models after they leave prison, but far too many of them don't change.

I agree, the police do thier best. It's the Canadian judges that all need to be fired and get some in that care.

Actually RobBob, her father reported her missing the day she disappeared and that sick bastard made a post in his 'myspace' blog that he hoped the little girl was okay. He also added that he didn't know why he was worried because he didn't have anything to do with it. The police didn't issue the 'Amber Alert' until two days after that. If the girl had been kidnapped she would've already been gone. You're right about not much else being able to be done, however, I think it's bullshit you have to wait for 48 hours for an Amber Alert to be issued. It's not like she was an adult who could've just run off from her spouse. But the general rule for any missing person here, in the U.S. (or Oklahoma at least) is that the person must be missing for at least 24-48 hours so, the police waited. Meanwhile, that disgusting freak was hitting her over the head with a cutting board and killing her. There are other ways of tracking down cases like having records on criminals and the police have access to those kinds of files. However, this guy had no criminal record OR history of mental illness whatsoever. In fact, according to his parents, this guy had friends when he was in school and was fairly well liked. He was teased just like most kids are in school at times. And, for the most part he was a good kid. You can't track someone who's never been on the radar because you don't have any just cause to. The reason the cops caught him is because he was acting weird when he pulled up to a check point the police had set up. And when they caught him, he admitted, "Yeah, I did it. She's in there. I chopped her up." The police and the DA agree that it looks like he had been planning it for over a year. They even said something about him having two other targets, a woman, and a five year old boy before he settled on Jamie. And personally, I don't know how Canada's law's are regarding serial killers, rapists, etc. But, I know if that were my child, come hell or high water there would be a dead man somewhere. He wouldn't get the chance to be put back out on the streets.I'm not jumping on you by the way. I'm just a hardcore child advocate and just thinking stuff like that happens makes me sick. And then when you find out it happened in your own "backyard" it's even worse. It's a heartbreaking story and my heart really goes out to her family.

You asked for it.

I don't understand the whole waiting 24-48 hours before they'll issue an Amber alert. If a child is missing, whether it be 2 hrs or 12 hrs, they should get on the ball and start searching as soon as they think this child could be in potental danger! I'm sorry, but if this was my child, that man would have hell to pay because there is nothing I hate more than a person who could inflict harm upon a child.
