Title is so lame. I know. Whatever. I was just watching The Grudge and now... I shall never ever ever ever... ever sleep in life again. So now I just want to know your favorite movies: Name your favorite scary movie, the scariest movie you've ever seen, and the worst scary movie you've ever seen. Number one and two are differnt because you could have liked the movie but it wasn't as scary and the second is just like it scared you so much that you hated it and you're a sucka lol jk... For me my favorite scary movie was The Others, the scariest movie I've ever seen is a tie between Texas Chainsaw Massacre and the Grudge, and the worst scary movie I've ever seen was Freddy vs Jason. That movie sucked lollipops and was a waste of my life.

I am not a scary movie fan...I really get scared. People don't like watching them with me, because I react to the TV... lol I watched Six Sense, and it freaking FREAKED me the crap out!!!!!!!!! It scared me so bad, the whole freaking thing as it ended and I figured it all out, really got me. Oh man. My friend left like as soon as it was over, so I was home alone and just started calling people cause I was so.......... ok, I'm done.

The last time I saw a movie that scared me I was 10.SInce then I have never been scared of a movie.Tense sometimes, Iv jumped at certain parts, but nothing ever scares me.THe movie that did was An American Werewolf in London and that movie scared the shit out of me.years later, its one of my favorites, I own the DVD, I wore out a few VHS copys but when I was ten, it sfared the shit out of me I was in my dads car driving home looking out the window on a full moon trying to see if anything was moving across the sagebrush plains. My brother was 7, he was scared shitless as well. We deserved it, we begged for weeks to see it and my dad finally said fuck it, you want to see it ? get your ass in the car.We were so scared that we were white as a sheet.Sfter teh movie was over, and we had begged for fthe last half of it to leave early and were told to sit there and shut up, we hit a fast food place, no drive in and we ran from the car to the doors. While standing in line my brother turns and asks my dad, "Am I still white?"of course he was asking if his color had returned, but the black family in front of him just gave us dirty looks till they got thier food and left.We lived in fear of the full moon, shit of the dark period for months. When I go backpacking alone now (atleast one trip a year is by myself with a book and my fishing pole) I still think about that movie and the way the howl sounded when I see a full moon and Im miles from the trail head in the woods. The worst part is some of the effects were shitty, best of the best at the time but you can see the poles working the legs at the end and the werewolf looked fake as shit. The undead were good though, and the effects when he turned from him to the wolf were great, it was teh turning that scared the shit out of me I think, that and the dreams he had before he turned but after he was attacked.since I got older, I cant get back to were a movie is anything besides a movie.I know its bullshit and cant get lost in it again.

The Grudge was a good movie, I enjoyed it.I'm a huge scary movie fan. I plan on going to see "Silent Hill" and "The Hills Have Eyes". Though I am going in not expecting much because there really hasn't been any good thriller/scary movies lately. Last good one I seen was propbably "The Ring".
-
Movies don't usually scare me even the Sixth Sense didn't bother me that much. Eventhough I was deadset against seeing at first. The only movie that ever really freaked me out was Amityville Horror.
-
In reply to: I'd love to get somebody to watch "The Ring", and then call them right after and be like "your going to die in seven days". Heh...heh...I did something like that. I was watching the Ring (which was overrated I thought) with my roommate. He was on the sofa. I was on the floor under a blanket. He didn't know I had my cell phone and as soon as the movie ended, I dialed our land line. The look on his face was priceless.I'm constantly disappointed that there aren't scary movies being made any more. Lot of sick gross movies. Lot of screw with your head movies. But not scary. The best ones in the past few years I think were The Sixth Sense and The Others, but they're not really scary. The scariest one I saw was an older one called The Haunting, and Angel Heart. The original Amityville Horror and Poltergeist were decent.
-
seen Wolf Creek?
it was decent. It said based on true events, then I find out that while there was a real killer, and the guy inteh movie did look alot like him, the movie was made up aside from a few facts like peoples names and a few non gruesome details.
still a decent show. Based on true events though I was expecting something better, a bit more scarey because it wa real. The head on a stick, bothers me to think of. I may never get that line and the following action out of my head. -
well cary movies, are not really so much scary to me in the sense of omg whats gonna happen next, but more in the sense of something will pop out of nowhere...But you can predict that....I dunno...I like action movies b/c even though I know how it will go plot wise, people are still gonna get f'ed up.
-
Aww come on... over rated? I actually thought the movie was brilliant. I am not saying it was scary; it was more of a mess with your mind kind of movie, which I love. Another reason I like it is because it comes from an old Asian folklore.I even though The Ring II was equally as good. Answered a lot of unanswered questions from the first movie.
-
In reply to: unanswered questions from the first movie. Like...Can I get my money back? Can I get those two hours back? How many kindergarten kiddies did it take to write that script?
-
Wha!!! So sad...../sighTruthfully, and just my opinion, I thought the script was very well done and the acting was terrific. That little boy is such an awesome little actor. But hey that's just me hehe.. I have been told more than once I'm an odd cookie.
