Gas Prices
-
Actually.. gas prices are more expensive here.. it was up to $1.10 this week. Im NOT TELLING YOU that you need to plan your money better.. UGH IM TALKING ABOUT SOCIETY IN GENERAL.
-
a 1.10 ??
care to explain that to us americans ?
is that litres or what ?
cos to us a buck ten is looking better then a pice of pussy pie..
if that is litres, howmany ina gallon? and hows the rate of exchange between the US and Canada ?
I know whe I buy a book, you guys pay a buck more then I do for the same book but thats the limit of my extensive knowledge  -
we are liters and i think there is about 4 liters to the gallon
-
so the dick they fuck you with is just a bit bigger then the one they use on us, seems tome canada shoudl be bitching a bit more loudly about gas prices.
-
1 gallon= 3.78 litres i think or 3.28 one of the too either way (i dont know why we all cant use metric)
-
1 Gal = 3.785 litershttp://www.thetipsbank.com/convert.htm
-
K like you dont have to be precise sheesh.
-
posted this in last year's thread about gas prices so I gues it bears repeating...Canadian price per litre * 3.785 * Exchange Rate = US price per gallonUS price per gallon / 3.785 / Exchange Rate = Canadian price per litreTodays closing exchang rate was 0.90 USD to 1 CDNso $1.10/L CDN = $3.75/G US
-
$4.16 per fuckin gallon
-
thats almsot a dollar fucing mor then I pay for gas as of this morning. 2.69 american, but I saw on my way back home that it was upto 2.82, a fucking 13 cent jump in a matter of hours
-
yeah, like I said, we make all out own gas so we're getting fucked.
Oh yeah... and our new neo-con government had just blessed us with a 1% cut in the GST... I think that means I can afford to buy a pack of gum every second or third fill-up.... assholes -
$2.89, hell that's good compared to what we are paying. Ours is from about $3.17 to $3.69 for regular gas.
On top of that, I have to buy Premium which is at $3.39 (the cheapest I can find in my area)
You can find prices in your area with http://www.gasbuddy.com/

I know about your prices, My uncle lives in sandiego, Ever Heard of SHuler and Brown law firm ? he was the Brown for years, got more moeny leaving for another company.I talk to him on a regular basis, you guys get screwed on a great many things there. he had a house on mt carmix, fucking 3 million, the same layout here would of cost him about 300 k.of course it woudnt be looking out over san diego and the ocean, and worst of all there is no in & out burger here.gas, smokes, all sorts of shit costs more there then here. I was working for a guy that moved here form there because work transfered him, he sold his house there for 800k and bought one here for just under 220k, 2 times the house he had there and on the lake and golf course here. pocketed the difference, retures this september and as he owes nothing on this house he ca sell it right off, fbought during phase one, and a year later its al done and worth another 50k over what he paid.its the shits to get stuck in the butt just because you live where its warmer year round and dont have to put up with snow and get to play in teh ocean.

That's how it is where I'm at, and it's getting worse every week! My sister just got a new job, and although she'll be making more an hour, the price of gas is going to kick her butt! She'll be having to drive 45 min. to an hour to get to her job everyday... that's alot of money going into her tank.

See in Canada we dont have free healthcare. We pay 14% taxes on everything. Pay more than 3X more for alcohol and cigarettes. And the gas UHHGG! Our roads in Manitoba are delapitated to say the least, gas tax was supposed to pay for repairs, that would mean that we would have gold paved super highways with, can you immagine, overpasses on major highways. If we need urgent medical care, we have to wait a few months just to get tests done. Many people die or end up going to the US to pay them for treatment. Our wages are low too, $6.25/hour. The poor stay poor, the rich get richer. The good news is that our dollar is getting stronger and we can go to the US for gas, booze and tobacco. We are only 15 min. from the border.

American and Candian money will never be worth as much as the Euro or the English Pounds. Hell with like 1 million pounds you could buy this continent. $2.19 = 1.00 pounds somewere around there and its like 1.80 for 1 pound. i think prices have changed since new budget tho.
-
In reply to: The good news is that our dollar is getting stronger not good news for everybody... I get payed in USD and I've taken a HUGE paycut for no real reason
-
lol you couldnt buy this continent thats only like 2190000 but what the hell is british north america exactly?
-
Its Britain...across the ocean!
