When doing arm curls, should I do more curls of less weight? Or less curls with more weight? What one builds more muscle?PS. Any advice on building upper arm muscle?

Curls? More Of Less? Or Less Of More?

See, that is where i run into problems... I have no gym, nor can I get to one. I live almost in the middle of no where, so gyms are few and far betweem. Anyways, Would doing 1 or 2 sets or Less-of-more curls then 1 or 2 sets of more-of-less curls do any better?PS. I don't want to look like a body builder (though it would be nice) I just want to look a little more "beefy" or atleast some muscle definition. Have any ideas keepin in mind I have no gym?

Ok, but should i do Less-of-more curls and more-of-less curls every other day to gain a bit of muscle mass? Or should I just lift heavy things... Totally poped a brain cell.

Well i pretty much want to beef up my arms a bunch. Uper body beefup would be a bonus!

In general, the less reps/more weight you do (with a minimum of like 5 or 6), the more mass you will build. However, the main point Helms was trying to get across is curls alone won't give you big arms. Trust me, he knows what his talking about. If you want to keep curling though, go for it, you'll only be wasting your time.

Do the weight you can do roughly 10-20 reps of, and do sets of that. I find my forearms are like rocks after doing that, and I can do as many reps as my friend (who weighs a good 100lbs and can bench 60lbs more than I can) of curls. Unless I do the wrong exercise...
