I was working out with a friend 2 nights ago. Then went to sleep right after with my arms under my pillow. My arms were at a 10 degree angle. Is it possible that my muscle healed from its work out in a weird shape/position? I ask this because it hurts to extend my arms out past a 100 degree angle. The pain i am feeling isnt the usual "i worked out really hard last night" soreness. It feels like there is a rope attached to my upper and lower arm, resticting them from moving apart. Anyone know why?

Not really. Muscles doesn't heal in weird shapes. Basically, you have many strands of muscle and within those strands are individual muscle fibers. You grow new muscle fibers inside those strands of tissue, increasing the ability of those strands as a whole to do work. You're just feeling stiff and sore from having worked hard and then putting your arms in an awkward position for an extended period of time. It will go away. Try stretching as far as you can without major discomfort or pain. Should help to reduce some of the tension in the muscles and ligaments and loosen you up.
