Yeah..sorry had to make a new post so it would be seen, but...I had my varicocele surgery Thursday morning...and it took me a good 4 days to have a bowel movement. When I went, I had to strain...then stop..and it was a stop and go of short periods of straining..and I finally went, but I'm worried in the process of straining with the lower body I messed up the stitches on my veins in the scrotum..blew them..or did something to cause them not to heal right and be weak veins for the rest of my life. I just dont know how strong stitches like that are..and how much wear and tear of surgery recovery they can stand.

Concerns about surgery recovery...

I think stitches should be able to cope with straining at stool. If there was no bleeding I think you're fine.

yeah..but..the stitches and veins are in my scrotum...and i have no idea what goes on in there when i strain..and i dont even know how to tell if they rupture or anything..

Well, with a mirror you should be able to see all of your scrotum. If you're worried about internal blleding, the stitches are still going to be at the surface and bleeding under the skin would be visible.

My testicles are in some weird shape now...I donno from the swelling or what, but instead of being side by side there front and back and lopsided and weird shaped..its freaking me out, and i get little sharp pains that last a split second or so every now and then. is this normal after a surgery like this anyone?

I think you should go back to your doctor about that. I could well believe there'd be some swelling, but the front and back position and the pains should be discussed with the doctor, in case there are complications.
