I dunno about the first one but Im sure someone else will.. ummm
Ive never noticed any guys with fillings.. but im sure there are some.. It wouldnt put me off at all!
There are many ways u can whiten your teeth.. use crest whitestrips.. i have amazingly white teeth.. thats one of the first things people notice about me .. "you have a great smile your teeth are so white" You know how.. I brush my teeth whenever i can.. like 3 x a time.. and i use a toothpaste with whitener in it.
Simple simple simple.. you'll see results in no time!

no way to get rid of them other than going back to the dentist and having them replaced with white ones
-
As Amanda said they can be replaced with something called composites BUT they are not nearly as strong as Amalgam and they will break easily. And the cost can get pretty expensive to have them replaced.
-
ive never brushed my teeth , and have never had issues with them ,and yes i to go to the dentists every few months granted my teeh are a very very very pale yellow, but thats it

You never brush your teeth or rarely brush your teeth? Either way that's gross. Oral health plays a HUGE part in your over all health of your body.Tooth brushes and tooth paste does not cost that much money nor does it take much time. So there are no excuses in not having good oral hygiene

Hmmm... I guess the jokes here that the Brits have horrible teeth are confirmed.

I knew it

You can get gold inlays, or gold or porcelain-covered gold crowns. But they cost quit a bit (maybe 600 to 900 dollars for a crown).Over time I replaced my amalgam fillings with gold crowns. They are very rugged and will theoretically last a lifetime (whereas an amalgam filling has to be periodically replaced).

(whereas an amalgam filling has to be periodically replaced). 5-10 years or longer depending how well they are taken care of I actually have a filling, that's about to be removed for a crown, that I've had for nearly 13 years lol. Which is surprising it's still there considering I grind my teeth (hence why I need a crown now grr).

In reply to:ive never brushed my teeth , and have never had issues with them ,and yes i to go to the dentists every few monthsAre you telling me that the Austin Powers teeth thing was not a joke? You brush and floss mainly to protect your gums rather than your teeth. If you don't take care of your mouth, your gums will eventually become infected and recede, which will cause you to lose your teeth. There's evidence that having unhealthy, infected gums can lead to cardiovascular problems.Don't you find the film that accumulates on your teeth unpleasant? I can't believe that your dentist hasn't said anything. Very odd indeed.I have all of my natural teeth, including wisdom teeth, but it's taken some effort to keep everything healthy, given my diet. It was well worth it.

Do you kiss people after you haven't brushed your teeth for weeks???? And do they gag in response? Seriously, I can TELL when someone hasn't brushed their teeth... The teeth get furry, and a lot of times food gets stuck in the cracks (especially chocolate).

Hmmm... I guess the jokes here that the Brits have horrible teeth are confirmed. Hey i take offense at that - i have lovely teeth sticks tongue out LOL

Me too angel... I have some sort of OCD with brushing my teeth, I brush them about 5 times a day :scream_cat:
To calm-monk: I can't believe you have never brushed your teeth. Aren't your teeth furry? *feels sick* :scream_cat:

Okay first off I work for a dental office, and have worked for one for over 4 years now. There is no way a dentist would ever say it’s okay to not brush your teeth. As Steve said brushing your teeth is not all about your teeth, but also for your gums. Without proper oral hygiene you will get gum disease, which can end up causing heart problems and not to mention teeth needing to be extracted because of gum recession. Secondly, I think you are more the pulling peoples legs here. If you never brush your teeth except when the dentist brushes them you’d have cavities out the butt. It’s not just sweets that cause cavities; regular food that would sit on the teeth will also cause decay. You’d have so much plaque build up it would be noticeable to the naked eye.If by some wild chance you are being truthful, spend the $5 and get a tooth brush and some tooth paste. Do yourself and everyone else around you that would have to smell your stinky breath a favor and brush your teeth.
