First let me say. I'm aware of the virtue or being happy with what you have and it's all about confidence. The current phase with my face I am not confident in and I don't think I could adjust to it. I'm a very self conscious person about my face (not to much my body since I can work that out). So I am going to post a picture of my face, I've talked it over with Roc (love you man). Suggestions or improvements I could make on my face, such as a hair style or something. Pretty much any comment is respect because I know this would be hard to post on.

try out new hairdos...Like a Buzzcut or something fun. It is best if ya pick something try it, if it is no good, just grow your hair out and start over. best ya can do, as far as what to do, I dunno not good with style advice.
-
I tried the buzzcut thing, a lot of girls hated it. They say they like my hair where it is but I feel so fucking ugly.
-
hmmmm maybe try some new clothing? For the longest time I had "gay" hair and I hated it. It looked stupid on me. But I gave it some time and now I have fairly short hair and I started to grow a beard. Try other things, some new clothes you like, and maybe workout or something. Those types of things can compliment your face greatly.
-
Try smiling, people automaticly look better when they smile.
-
My used to work at Timberland clothes/hiking company and she gets half off or free on their clothes products. So I usually have some of the latest in clothing. I do work-out, I probably work-out too much.I never had the "gay hair" problem.Oh yea, thanks a lot for posting man, I really appreciate it.
-
Try growing your hair really long, maybe that is your style, I always had short hair but i feel more comfortable with long, but im going to cut it.How about....Hats! Yes Hats! Hats make me look very very sexy so girls say, try a visor or something. my ex gf said i looked so good so she bought me one lol.How about new clothings style, like get some skateboard shoes, or whatever feels good for you! Usually, i ask some girls to help or gay guys lol, to figure out what looks good so they help me dress, its why im stylish!!
-
I grew my hair all the way to my chin and it just got in the way, and no one liked it.I was in to the skateboard scene, I still have some skateboard friends (recently going pro) but I always viewed it as being kind of a poser. And for the smiling thing, I smile all the time it's just in photos I don't really like to.
-
No problem I am here to help if I can.
-
Yea, you have to skateboard ALOT to get out of the skateboard poser phase, took me a while so now i have to get out of the Skater boy phase, word of advice stay away from phases!!
-
The humans psyche is based off phases. It's not others viewed me as poser, I was pretty damn good at it, just wasn't my scene to much I guess. Walken: Thanks a lot man

well I am what you would call the 4x4 click, I guess...I work on 4x4s and I am going to be a mechanic and open a shop for Jeeps.I dress in boots jeans and t-shirts...I just do it b/c I like it so feel free to explore what you like and such and go that route. If you are confident with it, girls will be attracted to it.
-
Eh it's more just me and less of what other people feel. Some people at school could actually find me attractive, it's just how I view myself. I have a confident personality, I usually give everything a go. Finding myself ugly is just something I usually keep private because no one really wants to hear anyone bitch about their looks.
-
well see it is that secretism, is what gals can sense. You may say you are doing something, but there is always that one thing. Just relax about it so much and find what ya like.
-
I don't think a dame can sense how I feel about my looks, hahaha.
-
They can trust me. It is all in how you act, the must subtle things. Just drop the looks and you are all good and will not worry about it.
-
Maybe in a distorted reality I can not care about my looks but the I guess you could say "a distorted reality is a necessity to be free". But I don't see myself not caring about my looks anytime soon.

Honestly, from the pic, your acne doesn't look too bad. Mainly your face is pretty red which can be from the Retin A you are using. Hopefully when you see the doc he'll take you off that stuff, in my opinion, is one of the worst treatments for acne. It tore up my face and made it bright red.
As for everything else, you're not a bad looking boy. I would trim the sides of the hair shorter but keep it longer on top. I think it would really give you the preppy, but instyle look you are going for. Almost the "surfer" look. But don't change it because I think you should, do what you are comfortable with.
Clothing, well hard to say because all I can tell is a white shirt. If you do some true browsing you can find some really good clothes at Hollister and Abercrombie that will NOT cost tons of money. In the back of the stores you can find fun t-shirts for $12, as well some some other more preppy style of clothing. You can even go to places like Kohls and find some pretty fun clothes. Just look around.

If you keep changing your appearance to suit everyone else then you will never be happy with it.You're a handsome guy, be yourself, do what you want with your hair etc......once you are happy with the way you look, others will see it too.
-
Yea, I am definatly getting off this Retin A bullshit. Thanks for showing me some more negatives about it, I'll get some better products that are cheaper! Thank you!AngelWitch: Thanks for the kind post, put whenever someone says I am handsome or good looking I see it as a golden fallacy. I think to stop being self conscious would have to be one of the hardest things in my life.
