Does anyone know of a good way to repair your metabolism? When I was younger i ruined mine. I had very poor eatting habits, sometimes wouldn't eat for days, etc. Suffice to say thats carried on for a few years now, its to the point where if I don't eat within 5 minuts of me being hungry, my brain turns off the 'hungry' signs and I wait a few hours until I am hungry again, and the cycle continues. Sometimes I will eat once a day, sometimes Iwill gorge...I want to fix it so I can lose weight without struggling, but I cannot force myself to eat if I am not hungry. I feel guilty ontop of everything if I do tat as I am trying to lose weight.

I think the first step is to schedule your eating patterns. Eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at or about the same time every day. Do not break the pattern and allow for light snacks to tide yourself over between meals if needed.

I've tried =/ When I wake up I am not hungry and usually won't get hungry for another few hours after waking. Not making excuses, Im just having difficulty eating when I am not hungry and I know breakfast is important.

Well. I'm one of those people that doesn't eat breakfast either. And although I don't have the same exact problem as what you have, I have a solution that may work. Try forcing yourself to eat. I know it sounds harsh but it will get you're body used to it. I never ate breakfast for years as I was never hungry in the morning. I knew I couldn't keep going on without it because I was getting extremely tired. My body didn't tell me it needed food it just went off and suffered. I had to realise that my body wasn't going to 'rumble' for me to eat, I had to get eating. Trust me this works. Well it did for me anyway. Just take in small amounts at first and increase the amount as you get used to it. All I eat is 2 slices of toast and a cereal bar. Ok, that isn't much, but it still is breakfast and it keeps me going. AT first I started on just the cereal bar. Give it ago.

doubt that true... i dont eat break fast... i'll probably drink breakfast like a slimfast or some multi vitamin smothie but i can never eat in the mounring my stomach begins to feel shitty... it sucks but it works for me... and for you question.. yeah just get a schedule i know it'll be hard for you to eat... but start byu eating very little servings of things and grow to a full meal
