Might sound stupid but I don't care how do you smoke? My dad smokes but i don't want to ask him cuz he'll think he's teaching me to smoke. Do you actually swallow the smoke or what? Do you hold it in your mouth then let it out? Thanks for the help.
-
I guess this goes here...how do you actually smoke
-
You inhale the smoke.
-
Sort of like inhaling helium from a balloon, right?
-
Well I don't know exactly. I'm not a smoker.
-
Lol, none of us are smokers, yet we all replied... Oh well.
-
Why even bother starting to smoke? It's horrible for you and causes cancer as well as other horrible health problems. So again... why even learn to inhale?
-
Weed isn't bad for you.
-
Your dad smokes weed? And why do you think marijuana is bad or not bad, either way?If you don't inhale pot, as Bill Clinton realized, it's not as bad.
-
Oh it isn't? Let me give you some info:1. Smoking marijuana regularly (a joint a day) can damage the cells in the bronchial passages which protect the body against inhaled microorganisms and decrease the ability of the immune cells in the lungs to fight off fungi, bacteria, and tumor cells. For patients with already weakened immune systems, this means an increase in the possibility of dangerous pulmonary infections, including pneumonia, which often proves fatal in AIDS patients. 2.Regular smoking has been shown to materially affect the overall ability of the smoker’s body to defend itself against infection by weakening various natural immune mechanisms, including macrophages (a.k.a. "killer cells") and the all-important T-cells. Obviously, this suggests the conclusion, which is well-supported by scientific studies, that the use of marijuana as a medical therapy can and does have a very serious negative effect on patients with pre-existing immune deficits resulting from AIDS, organ transplantation, or cancer chemotherapy, the very conditions for which marijuana has most often been touted and suggested as a treatment3.Marijuana smoke and cigarette smoke contain many of the same toxins, including one which has been identified as a key factor in the promotion of lung cancer. This toxin is found in the tar phase of both, and it should be noted that one joint has four times more tar than a cigarette, which means that the lungs are exposed four-fold to this toxin and others in the tar. It has been concretely established that smoking cigarettes promotes lung cancer (which causes more than 125,000 deaths in the US every year), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (chronic bronchitis and emphysema) and increased incidence of respiratory tract infections.4. It is notable that several reports indicate an unexpectedly large proportion ofmarijuana users among cases of lung cancer and cancers of the oral cavity, pharynx, and larynx. Thus, it appears that the use of marijuana as a medicine has the potential to further harm an already ill patient in the same way that taking up regular cigarette smoking would, particularly in light of the fact that those patients for whom marijuana is recommended are already poorly equipped to fight off these infections and diseases. So yeah, real safe huh?

Yeah my dad smokes weed. I thought it wasn't bad cuz that's what I've heard. And beside if I do smoke I won't smoke every single day.
-
I thought it wasn't bad cuz that's what I've heard. You can't believe what you "hear", because most of it is wrong. You need to do your own research before making a decision, even if it something you really want to do. Your age is also a factor; starting at a young age is likely to cause more problems than starting as an adult would. One problem with pot is also true with video games, Internet porn, and a lot of other things: Sometimes people start spending more and more time doing it, to the point they neglect other parts of their lives. There are a lot of people smoking dope all day, sitting in their room, and not much else.By the way, we're not mind readers. When you said "smoke", we assumed you were referring to cigarettes.
-
When I said smoke I wasn't implyin weed or cigerates I was jus asking about the actual smoking. Sorry for the confusion.
-
From what I can tell, this forum seems to be here to help people break the habits of things, and not to start them.
-
You can inhale it but some people can't take it so they hotbox it.
-
If he doesn't know how to smoke a joint, he's probably not going to know what hotboxing is. In fact, I had to look it up.
-
I stumped the great Steve
-
I tip my hat to you. I'm not current on drug slang.
-
I'm young and I live in the hammer, what can i tell you
-
...and hotboxing is what?
-
It's when you suck in the smoke but just leave it in your mouth but don't inhale it. Some people do it if they can't take in a breath of smoke. Or it can refer to just smoking in an enclosed space with no outside air.
