Okay well I've been on birth control for 1 month now and I'm on my 4th week. So that's the placebos week. Can I still have sex during that cycle and not worry about getting pregnant? PLEASE I NEED TO KNOW!! Thanks. Any and all replies are forever grateful.

Help! brith control question!!
-
Yes you can have sex at ANY time of the month now. (The pill has a low failure rate in case you didn't know)

Thanks. Just got worried there for a second. B/c I didn't know the placebo pills had the prevention ingredient in there. Okay. Well thanks a lot!!

The placebo pills don't have the prevention ingredient in, but they don't need to. Using the pills over the whole cycle prevents ovulation.

ahhh okay. Well I know nothing about birth control pills, other than I am taking them to prevent from getting pregnant. I have no one to ask and I didn't feel right asking the doctor. Even though I wanted to, but I am shy that way. Thanks

You are supposed to ask your doctor everything.. not people on the internet. Our info is correct, but the you need to inform yourself and ask the doctor questions if you don't understand something.
-
you are payig the doc for his aid and information and understanding, not just to write the script.
its stupid to not ask any questions you have, when you see the doc. Its part of what they ar paid to do, and noone knows shit about them, untill they ask, Im sure hes heard the same thing 1000 times before you, its really not a big deal to him to explain it to you. part of his job is explaining it and making sure your comfortable wiht the procedure and the risks associated with the treatments.
When new shit pops up, can you cant get in to see the doc, ask here, when potentionaly embarrassing shit comes to light, ask here, when your taking drugs, perscribed by a doc ask the doc any questions you have, BEFORE starting to take them.
honestly, its thier job, they expect it, there is no reason to feel shy about wanting it explained to you. -
Okay, thanks everyone
