Well, I get ALOT of discharge from time to time, and I also experience a slight, stinging pain... Also it sometimes smells quite bad down there... Im a bit worried. Is it worth seeing the doctor for?

Do u think I might have an Infection? :S
-
It sounds like a possible yeast infection. You can get stuff from a pharmacist to treat that, without needing to go to a doctor.
-
Yea but I'd rather not take any medicine if it's not nexessary. In case I dont have an infection. It's just that when I read about yeast infections, they sound much worse than what I have. So Im in a bit of a doubt.
-
Do didn't describe what you have in great detail, but it sounds exactly like a yeast infection. The treatment is low-risk. If it works, then you're done. On the other hand, if you have a bacterial infection, you can't screw around and worry about taking medicine.
Too many people have used the idea of "not wanting to take medicine" as an excuse to procrastinate.
-
You could go to a doctor first if you like. The treatment for a yeast infection is a cream that's applied locally - it's not a pill that affects your whole system, if that's what you're worried about. And it doesn't affect good bacteria, because it's specific for yeasts and other fungi.

Hmm sounds pretty harmless then. But yes. I dont like taking medicine that affects my whole body. people these days use medicine for everything, even when they dont need it. There are so many alternatives.
Oh well, I have an apointment with the doctor on monday, so I guess I'll find out what I have then. -
I get a strange feeling of deja-vu taking to you about this. Haven't we been here before?Don't paint all medicine with a broad brush of badness, and don't fool yourself into thinking that there's an effective "natural" cure for everything. I guarantee you, if you get a serious infection and refuse antibiotics, you will be putting yourself in grave danger. What natural remedy will you use if you get meningitis and your brain swells?Pretty much anythng can cause a reacition is someone, but topical antifungal cremes and ointments are very low-risk, and very effective. If you take it far enough, why do you think it's safe to wash with soap and water? You do wash, don't you?

Hey Im not like Anti-medicine like that. If I need medicine, I'll take it. but If I can avoid it and use an alternative thing, I'll do that. Dont get me wrong, medicine has and is helping alot.Besides, when It comes to yeast infections, I dont have much of a choice than using whatever medication or cream that I need, right?

Besides, when It comes to yeast infections, I dont have much of a choice than using whatever medication or cream that I need, right?I believe that to be correct. There's not a lot to chose from, but what there is is safe and effective.
