Back in December I started noticing small pinpoint bumps on the shaft of my penis. Over a three month period they developed into larger flatter bumps. I'm talking probably a hundred or more, from the left and right side of my penis. None touch my ventrical side (the underside) of my penis. A month and a half ago I visited my GP and he said he didn't know what it was, although it was definitely something. (Thanks, for your $75.00 help!) He told me to meet with a dermatologist, so I set up an appt., in JULY! I'm going crazy. I did a male exam at planned parenthood and they tested me for Chlymidia and Gonorrhea, and those appeared negative. In the past two weeks, I've experienced some of the bumps erupting into red spheres, but the remainder are still flat and flesh colored. I have no discharge, no pain, no tingling. I did have an ulcer like sore at the base of my penis for about a week too. It really hurt to touch. I'm assuming that it's herpes, although I haven't heard anything about herpes coming with all of these bumps. I just need to know what it is. I was sexually active up until December when they started appearing. I broke off a fling and have since remained celebate. I'm afraid I'm never going to have sex again. Can anyone help?

Have you looked at the pictures in the Male Anatomy thread in the Male Genetalia section?

I looked at those, and have researched extensively on the internet to no avail. I can't seem to find pictures that depict what I've got going on.

You could have HPV there is no test for men. Only an abnormal pap test on a women will determine if there is an hpv infection. On men the only way to know is if you have genital warts. I just found out I had HPV and now I had to get the warts removed. There isn't much else of a treatment for men besides that and you never know if you get rid of the virus. I am trying to find that out. Do some reading on HPV in men.
