I am 17 and I have hair on my chest and stomach. I have been shaving everything except leaving a line going from my belly button down, and also from the belly button up. Then the chest I leave alone. But now the hair on my stomach still shows after I shave and is becoming stubbly. I have only been shaving for a couple of months and this is already happening, so how do all these people you see in magazines in their thirty's keep a perfect trim without all the stubble and hair growing all over their stomach?

Are you using a shaving or trimmer?

shaving

They have professionals groom them, use cosmetics and edit pictures. You believe everything you see in a magazine?

so there isnt a quick and easy way to get rid of all the hairs around the stomach without the stubble?
-
o shave every day (cheap)o elecrolysis (expensive)o laser hair removal (very expensive)

I tried shaving every day, but the more I shave, it seems like the faster it grows back and the more it shows even right after the shave

It's an illusion. The first time you shave, you shave off the tapered tips of the hair, so it seems rougher. After that, it's the same. If you stop shaving for a while (a month or so?), then new hairs will replace old ones, and they'll be just the way they were before you ever shaved.

Why at 17 do you want to get rid of your body hair anyway?
Dont you think it is there for a purpose. i know some people are hairless and others are hairy but to have to shave my stomach every day would just be a pain and ther is no real reasoon to do it. I mean shaving the face evry day is bad enough.

Try a trimmer, that takes my body hair right off, then I shave what's left. You have to shave up and at an angle to get best results. It's good to put warm water before so the skin is soft.Wouldn't Nair work also?
