Okay, so I have been agnostic for several years now and I am wondering if it is normal for me to find it hard to believe in a God? I already have my own good personal reasons for not wanting to join the Christian community. Now, I am not ruling out Deism which is the belief that a creator exists but that he did not reveal himself to man. My Deist friend has a very good reason for believing in what he does. He says that he couldn't imagine life just evolving on it's own to the state in which it is, and the way emotions work and stuff. I can. I believe in science. I think of all the possibilities that the entire universe could have been created all by itself if a God could have existed. I know the whole everything has a creator argument, but I often ask, then who created "God"? I mean, some beliefs just don't seem logical to me. I never understood how someone could believe in the Christian God. Everytime I discuss religion, I get the whole faith argument, yet I still don't understand it. I just think that "God" is everyone's simple explanation to all the hard questions that we cannot answer.
Is it normal that I find it hard to believe in a God?
