im a girl and im 14. im deffinatley not fat, but im not skinny (just chubby i guess). high school is starting soon and i planed on loosing weight before hs so i could have some what of a fresh start. plus have more confidence. but i've actually gained like 5 lbs.
lately i've eaither been not eating at all, or just having something really fattening (ex.a tub of frosting) and then nothing else the rest of the day. its just been happening for about 2 weeks. but my mom is noticing that im not eating and she's getting worried. but i dont want to start eating again bc i want to loose weight.
is this an eating disorder or a problem? if so, what should i do since im loosing weight fast and dont want it to stop?

erm , try at least eating some fruit , i mean a banna and a fuirt juice for breakfast , and a sandwhich and banna and apple for lunch inst going to make you fat/gain weight

Vegetables are good too. Salad vegetables have plenty of fibre and vitamins and minerals without being fattening.

You're eating a zillions calories, yet getting no useful nutrition. Your version of "not eating" is causing you to gain weight.I don't know if you have an eating disorder now, but if you keep eating the way you are, you probably will. You need to learn to eat healthy. Sugar (which is pretty much all that frosting and such things are) gets digested very quickly, then you crash.As Ineligible said, salad is nutritious and filling (pereferably with a low calorie dressing). Fruit is good (better than fruit juice). Basically, eat a good variety of things, keep down the sugar consumption (soda is evil), and eat in moderation...but don't skip meals!

SteveA is right, also starving yourself won't help, I don't knwo the technacalities (sp?) of it, but when you do this and you eat anything, it makes you gain more because your stomach hasn't been use to the food. I don't know if i said it right because I don't know much about it but I have been told about it by people and i ti is true, but starving yourself won't help because once you eat the tiniest bit of food, you body will c hange it into fat, making it worst. Plus I tried doing it and I got dizzy, almost fainted, but its not worth it, it could be faster, I dont think so though, but it also could hurt you and your body, so stop and eat and diet and exercise.

I think the problem with starving yourself is that you'll wind up eating a lot more when you finally do eat.I did mean to mention exercise. Just doing something might really help your metabolism.

Don't try to lose weight, that means you might lose confidence and don't diet because they all eventually end.This is what I advise. Change your lifestyle. Try to eat balanced. This means all of the required foods, dariy products, wheaty products etc, and don't skip meals, but if you think you have too much in a meal, eat less, but do not skip them.Excercise is important, excercise can tone your body etc so u can feel better about yourself.Just remember over 90% of diets fail, so do soemthing different and change your lifestyle, but treat yourself now and then, such as every 5 days
