Okay.. so. I (at least Im pretty sure) just got over a really bad pregnancy scare. But as long as she's still bleeding, Im pretty sure we're in the clear.
I dont want to take the chances of another condom break or anything like that, so Im going to take her to Planned Parenthood sometime in the next couple of days. I've heard a couple of mixed things about prices and stuff that I kinda need help on.
On one hand we could get the pill, which from what I understand, doesnt have as many side effects as the shot. But you have to remember taking it every day at the same time, and that increases the chance her parents will know she is taking it. But on the other hand, obviously, there's the shot. One shot and she's good for three months, no matter what? Of course I know its always good to use a condom, Im just asking in general.
Also.. what kind of money am I looking at? A good friend of mine said that since she's still in high school the pill/examination could be free, but that's up for debate. She also said that the shot may be free, but it could be anywhere from $10-$50 or something.
So basically, she's still in high school, what kind of prices am I looking to spend for either the pill or the shot (which seems like the better one), and the accompanying exam?
