Im 14 and I have had spots in the past- mainly on my forhead, but they have all cleared up now. They wern't spots like blackheads or whiteheads, they were just pimples under the skin- like a cluster of little red bumps. I now have the down the side of my face. Its not a rash. Does anyone know what these are called? Is there a special name? And how can I treat them? Also, while your here, post your ways of zapping annoying spots. Heres one of mine- Put a blob of toothpaste on it overnight! It will reduce swelling!

Spots!! Argh!

Aren't you talking about simple acne/zits/pimples????

No, its hard to explain. Its not acne, neither are they huge spots which can easily be squeezed. They look kind of like a rash, and there are loads of them down the side of my face. I wash everyday. Its so annoying!! Grr!

Have you seen a doctor about it?

if its the "under the skin" kinda pimples then it will usually not b affected or caulsed by what ur putting on ur face or how often u wash it etc. so, washing and creams etc wont work. u will probably need 2 c ur doctor or a dermatoligist about it so they can give u sum pills or sumthing to take 2 get rid of them.

Well instead of just getting acne for me I get this splotches of red stuff on my face, I think they're called blemishes. It's so annoying but I have about 3 and no more have been coming up, so I guess if they go I should be good. If you're getting what i'm talking about then I suppose use face washes.
