OK! I USED to eat this everyday : Breakfast : Sandwhich and water,juice or soda and lunch (1) slice of pizza and a soda and when i got home.. A sandwhich ( or burrito or w/e ) and a soda and useuslly some chips and for dinner what ever we have and a soda and after dinner ( few hours) sandwhicj ( burrito w/e) and another soda.. I decided this isnt going to help me loose my gut.. So i have came up with this new one that i have been on for two days.. Breakfast : Sandwhich Juice or water . Lunch (2) slices of Pizza and water When i get home.. Gatorade or water( always drinking water anyways ) and a grenola bar.. then NOTHING else till dinner..eat what we have and soda or juice and THATS IT! nothing else to eat.. Think that will work.. Drastic changes or complete diet changes arent going to help me..( like Atkins and stuff ) So far ( two days ) so good.. Im starving.. But im getting used to it.. and i toughen up till the next meal.. in the next few weeks i will try to get some excise in..I already walk the dogs everynight..and i walk fast when im at school.. I hope this works.. Any suggestions? It is so hard to stay on a diet.. and i hope i can stay on this one.. If not i dont know what i will do..lol..Thank You

cut the juice and gatorade out too.... its just sugar.fill up on fruits and veggies and whole grains.

Well whats a good lunch that can be easly carried.. or bought from school? Bagels.. are cheap

if you eat bagels, turn them into bagel sandwiches.... have protein with it!

bagel bite have a lot of protein...but a lot of fat too...

i was thinking more along the lines of a bagel with lettuce, tomato and like tuna, chicken salad, egg salad or lunchmeat on it....

there's some big controversy stirring up about atkins again, it was on the news last night, i just don't think atkins is the way to go

yeah i saw it too... people abuse the diet though and thats where you run into the problems.

I don't necessarily think it's just through abuse though. You can follow the diet correctly and still have problems with it. I just don't think it's the safest or healthiest diet out there.

you shouldn't have problems with the diet if followed correctly... although i'm sure some people do. but in the book dr atkins tells people to get a full physical with full blood workup and then get a repeat of blood sugar and cholesterol tests 6 weeks later and then every couple of months.

It's the whole meat thing and fat thing is not the greatest. Some of my close relatives have been having problems with their health now and they were following it correctly. Going with one of them to the doctor last week I'm now seeing the dark side of the diet. I don't believe it to be a healthy one.

well you do realize to follow the diet correctly, you are supposed to eat all organic free range meats and organic veggies etc... nothing with trans fats in them. no nitrates.

OK!.. Another question.. I think i got my diet settled.. I cut out over 900 calories..with SIMPLE little things.. :smile: .. But back to exercise.. Im in between to machines right now.. 1. Exercise Bike or B. MANUAL treadmill...Which one is better for a good solid work out.. burning fat... Gaining muscle.. ETC ETC ETC..Thanks

yup... if you burn more than you take in you'll lose weight.

I went from 2900 Calories daily to 2000.. and now im exercising.. I have been going for i dont know 2 or 3 days now ( Is hella tired ) I decided i liked manual treadmills.. Easier to carry to differnt locatons
