Sore Muscles
-
is it bad for my muscles?
-
Overtraing if just as bad as undertraining. One HARD workout per week on a muscle group is fine, and anything more than that can prove incredibly painful and can prolong the recovery process (thus slower achivements). Remember, building muscle doesn't rely solely on how much you train with or for how long. It also depends on the amount of rest you give yourself and the amount of protein your body is granted so rapid recovery can commence.

ok thanks

Start the week with heavier weights and then alternate to a more endurance oriented session the second day in. The lighter workout is no less intese even though you are lifting with lower poundages. There's nothing easy about high rep workouts if you stay after the pump with a one-hundred percent effort and all out focus. You should try to workout on Monday Tuesday Thursday and Friday. With the four day splits, this rotation will give your body two full days off between each cycle.Day 1: Heavy day, work your chest, shoulders, and Triceps with sets of 2-4 and reps of 6-10 of whatever exercises you choose to do to work those musclesDay 2: light day, work your Back, Biceps, and Legs with sets of 2-4 with reps of 12-15Day 3: light day, work your chest, shoulders, and triceps with 2-4 sets and 12-15 repsDay 4 Heavy day, work your back biceps and legs with 2-4 sets or 6-10 repsDon't forget that eating the right food to fuel your body is essential for optimum muscle growth and will help speed up the healing process. This is info I found usefull and it comes from WWE Wrestler/Bodybuilder Paul Levesque A.K.A TRIPPLE H
