How to get rid of pimple or acne
-
Pro-activ doesn't work really, it's too rough for the skin.
www.acne.org worked pretty well for me.
-
Ordinary pimples are sebaceous glands infected by bacteria; acne is the condition of having these.Usually you are far more aware of them than people talking to you are.If it's very severe a doctor can use a systemic antibiotic, or, in the worst cases, Accutane, which is effective but has side-effects.

eat plenty of fruit, avoid fried food, start a skincare routine...this includes moisteurising your face ( which sounds girly but it gets rid of dead thick skin which makes skin clearer and less susseptible to acne ) using a cleansing wash (which gets oil and dirt off, meaning less acne, you can use soap but go with a face wash) and some kind of anti acne gel/cream...i also use exfoliater twice a week...yes im a girl for having a skincare routine but i get very little acne and my skin is quite nice a lot of the time.and also, dont be discouraged. i know a guy with chronic acne, he has a real pizza face, and hes been out with the kinds of girls i only dream about. cheer up.

haha im pretty sure he got alot of money.. can someone show me specific steps to help clean my face or get rid of acne??

okstep 1) use a cleanser. wet ur face with warm watter, rub the cleanser on ur face, wash off2)put sum toner on a cotten pad and rub over ur face3) use a moisturiser especially 4 acne. just rub the moisturiser into ur face and dont wash that off.u should b doing this twice a day. when u wake up and b4 u go 2 sleep.also, as stated above. eat healthy.if this dosnt work, try a dermatoligist if ur acne is moderate to sever. these no reason not 2 do sumthing about it as its ur face and ur self confidence. the last thing u want is scarring for the rest of ur life

To the OP, I would suggest looking into a product from Clean and Clear called Advantage (I think, it's a new product). It works very well!! Get the face wash as well as the acne ointment. In many cases, the ointment helps to reduce redness and swelling over night. It also goes on clear so you can put the ointment on during the day without anyone noticing. Clean and Clear also has a daily face moisturizer that’s oil free and helps to fight acne, I suggest getting that as well because not only will it help to fight acne, but it’ll keep your face from over drying from the ointment and the face wash.

When me and other people I know used it it was extremely irratating to the skin.
-
uh, no...im not rich...i only have one parent who works a low paying job as a book keeper and i can still afford these things...dont be so dismissive when someones trying to help you
-
wow.. so there at sooooo much of acne cream and stuff.. so what is the best that i should use.. can you guys give me the name or something so i should try on it?

I repeat: In reply to: You took the words from my mouth. To the OP, I would suggest looking into a product from Clean and Clear called Advantage (I think, it's a new product). It works very well!! Give that product a go and see what you think. So far I really like the product. And I was right the name of the product is called Advantage by Clean and Clear. (I'm at home now and was able to check).

its like Arbone clear Advantage right? sumthing like that and is it okay that if we use 2 or 3 product in a same time??
-
I would be careful mixing different products because a possible chemical reaction could occure. Not sure if its like Arbone or not, all I know is Clean and Clear makes this product and it comes in a silverish and Purple bottle.

I had really bad acne on my back/chest/face. I used Accutane and it was a miracle. Unfortunately it is starting to get worse again (only on my back and chest). I have scarring on my chest and back, including some hypertrophic scars (raised above the surface). I am really embarrassed about it and dont think any girls will go out w/ me. I am 16 years old, and have yet to get a girlfriend. So basically I am screwed right? Or can I do something about the acne/scars? Thanks
-
so u used Accutane and its gone?? and then its come back again?
-
Accutune is extremely powerful prescription that I sort of suggest you not using unless you have cysts or some other bad acne.
-
I'm guessing Accutane is the same as the Roaccutane/Isotane that I used. My acne wasn't that bas but it was persistant. The medication caused my skin to be very dry, especially my lips, but it wasn't really a big deal just as long as I moisturised. Over here in NZ there have been suggestions that it is linked to suicide and they doctors do cover their arses big time when giving this to ya. But it did work extremely well for me and many people have commented on it.
-
soo accutane is pill right?? not acne cream```
-
Yes, Accutane (= Roaccutane) is a drug that reduces sebaceous gland secretion, making them less likely to get infected. It consequently causes dry skin and lips (and glans), and there are other side-effects. It requires a prescription, and should only be used for severe and refractory cases.
