People can lift heavy weight without damaging their muscles, if muscle definition is their goal. What you need to do depends on what your objectives are.

You could maybe throw calisthentics in the loop and you'll have more defined muscles.

yea, but sum dumb shits start out lifting stuff thats far to heavey 4 them and can only do like, 2 reps...show offsworking out is over rated

hahaha, i knew saying that would piss sum one off....i find going to the gym the most boring experience of my life. it sucks i cant handle the bordom and it makes me go kinda crazy. i went to the gym for 6months when i was in my "food obsesssed borderline eating disorder" phase and yea, i was alot lighter then but id rather no work out and b about 5kgs heavery then i was then do all that work and not eating enough and being bord out of my mind.and comeon helms, im sure a tiny bit of the bodybuilding thing is about showing off...just a tichy bit?

lol.I know this is not good to say..but, i don't think helsman is all that legit.you look pretty young..and, to get that big, you must of been benching since you were like, in your mother's stomach.

helmz do u have any good tips because im working out at the gym as well(in fact i just finished drinking a protien shake). And is that less weight more reps thing true?

Hang around a little longer and read some of his stuff. You'll believe soon enough. He's our best expert on weightlifting and he has made many awesome posts on nutrition and training that are relevant to getting to be the way he is.

Actually, Helms, for how long were you that toned? That must have been after a cutting cycle right, because you're just as huge but not so defined in a lot of your other pics.
