Seriously, my ass hair is driving me insane! A few weeks ago I just had to shave it. I couldn't even sit anymore, the skin would simply hurt. Even though I also shower my ass and keep it really clean the hair there was so long and sticking together and it simply wasn't hygienic and I think when you have such long ass hair and you sit down then the hair might pull on the skin. So I shaved it and a few days everything was fine and then it started growing back and it itches so bad. When I don't walk much it's okay. But let's say I walk around then after a few minutes my ass starts to itch really bad. This is driving me insane!
No matter what you do it's wrong. If you shave you get problems and if you don't shave you also get problems. Do you think that you could get your ass lasered? I think I would really do it because the hair is bothering me so much.
Especially when the hair is relatively short it cannot even not itch because both cheeks are touching each other and when you have short hair on both cheeks then it feels like a grater. My ass is also pretty hairy. I think others don't have as much ass hair as me. My upper body isn't hairy but the legs and the ass are totally hairy, that's really great...

Can you get laser hair removement for the ass?
-
I don't see why laser treatment wouldn't work there. Waxing is also an option.
-
Some people are more hairy than others. I'm in the same boat as you. Women can get all thet waxed off. I don't know why guys can't, but I'm sure it would be harder to find someone who will do it to a guy. Maybe I'm wrong.I'm sure you can find a place that will do laser hair removal too.

All that kind of esthetic stuff is very popular around here. There's no way you'd have trouble finding someone who'd was the hair off a guy.I have a gay esthetician acquaintence with a college degree and over a thousand hours of esthetician school. I'll ask him, if I remember. I know for sure that he waxes women...wherever they need waxing.

Here is a link to frequently asked questions about laser hair removal.
Sounds like there's no reason you can't get done what you want but you better save some serious coin.

I just learned that my esthetician acquaintance will shortly be defending his PhD thesis (in something like industrial relations) at Vanderbilt.
Yes, he waxes people's buttholes.

Hi! It's me, dunbar. I had to register again because my hard drive was erased and the cookies were erased, too.I did some research on the net and it seems like laser hair removal really can be used in the anal area but I wonder if this doesn't hurt really bad. But I just don't know what to do anymore. The hair around my anus itches so bad that I can hardly walk. It always starts to itch after I walk for a few minutes, it's so depressing. How am I supposed to live like this? Shaving isn't a solution either. It only takes a few days and then the hair grows back and it itches even more.

I doubt that the pain is that big a deal. It sounds like what you're going through is a big deal. You make the call.
-
Yes, it really drags me down. But on the other hand I also don't know where to go to. If I go to a dermatologist then he might not even take me seriously or think I'm weird and tell me that you cannot do anything against it and then I'm screwed.Another problem is that I don't know if the insurance would even pay this but after all it's not a cosmetic issue but rather a medical one. This really sucks. I also don't even know who is responsible for stuff like that. I doubt that a beauty saloon also does such things.

I doubt that you're going to get the insurance company to cover the cost, but it's always worth a try. But it's not like you'd be getting a heart transplant; it's not that expensive.Everyone who can do the procedure likes to do it, because it's a real moneymaker, it's low-risk, and it doesn't require much follow-up care. Plastic surgeons do it, dermatologists do it, and technicians (estheticians) do it. Hair removal is a big business where I live. There are a lot of listings under "hair removal" in the Miami Yellow Pages, ironically just before the "hair replacement" listings. Those guys see all parts of the body all the time, and they definitely won't think your butt hole is anything special.More information: Consumer Guide to Laser Hair Removal Laser Hair Removal

The good news is, yes you can get your butt lasered. :P
A lot of women get this done, I still think it's called a brazilian. It's about $80 a treatment, and I think you need about 6 treatments. (You need at least 4 for sure)
So, every hair is removed. The only catch it that your hair has to be darker than the surrounding skin.
My friend got it done, but she left a little "landing strip". I guess some women are scared of having no hair ever again down there.
-
brazilianYou have the perianal area and butt crack confused with the genital and pubic area. The OP is just talking about the former. But you're right about the hair having to be dark.
-
I thought Brazillian was the term used for waxing ALL the hair including the anal area.
-
Yes, I suppose when one gets a Brazilian waxing, the back door hair is generally also removed. But the focus is on the pubic hair.
Since the orignal poster is a guy, and he didn't say anything about removing his pubic hair, I presume he just wants butt crack hair removal.
-
Well, when you go for laser they're going to charge you for a brazilan regardless of how much hair you want to keep. Brazilian is getting rid of all hair below the waist in that general area.Like I said, some women that get brazilians leave a bit of hair. I'm sure the OP can leave his pubic if he wants. But they're not going to charge you less because of that, since they have to go "down there" anyways.
-
How about if you don't get a Brazilian, but just have the hair removed from the bunghole region? I don't know what an esthetician would do, but I'm sure a dermatologist or plastic surgeon would charge less. We're talking laser hair removal, not waxing. I wouldn't go to an esthetician for laser hair removal anyway.

I get my laser hair removal done by an esthetician who works out of a dermatologist's clinic. I don't know how these things work in the States or how much it would cost, but that's how it works in Canada.I don't even know if surgeons would do that procedure, doesn't really seem like their field. But it costs the same either way, where I go, since it is done through the dermatolgist.Since they charge by area, maybe he could get a discount, but not likely. They dont' give discounts if you've thin legs. Even though I think they should. lolAnyway, it's not that expensive for "permanent" hair removal. Hell, legs are $230 a session!
