My lips on my mouth, around the edges burn and itch inconsistently for about 2 weeks at a time. Everytime it happens I think I'm going to get a cold sore, but nothing ever develops. I usually see little pimple like things OR nothing at all. The skin seems to be irritated like an allergy of some sort, but I'm afraid its some STD. It especially happens after giving a lot of oral sex to a woman. Sometimes I think that its their rubbing of their pubic hair on my lips.....but I need to find out why, as I don't want to transmit anything to my lover. Also sometimes my eyelids and chin itch and burn in the same manner. Especially when I sweat. But mostly its my lips that are EXTREMELY aggitated. If you have Herpes (cold sores), can you just have the itching and buring symptom and never have an outbreak. If you don't have an outbreak, can the doctors still confirm that I'm contagious when I have this symptoms? Also I get these sore like things around my buttocks and on my pelvis. They hurt at first and sometimes I try to pop them...when I do first comes puss and then blood. This makes them hurt WORSE. If I leave them alone its sore and they grow, but after a lot of HOT showers they go down in size and disappear. These occur frequently. I went to the doctor and she said it was some type of bacteria and she gave me this cream, but she never tested them or took any blood, so I'm wonder if its some type of STD. As my lover got one on her butt also. I don't recall the doctor telling me that it can be transmitted. And I feel AWEFUL. Any advice as to what tests to ask the doctor to do OR what these symptoms could be?Thanks!

you need to get tested for stds, and make sure they test for herpes - many times that is not tested for. that's the only way you'll know. until then i would refrain from any type of contact.

You can have Herpes without getting a visable sore outbreak, yes. I only had like an itching symptom every now and then ( which I and my doctor put down to thrush) for 2 1/2 years to start with.
I have heard it's a lot harder for a doctor to diagnose herpes without being able to actually swab a fresh sore. You can have a blood test done but these are not always spot on.I would book an appointment with your doctor and tell him/her your concerns and mention you would like a blood test for Herpes. A lot of doctors misdiagnose people that actually have herpes.
