For guys who got circumsized around the age of 16.

There were so many discussions/debates about this topic. Have you looke through the postings in this forum?Bascically, if you're having a forskin problems, light tightness, and it won't respond to stretching (with or without steroidal cream), or you're unwilling to go through the trouble of doing the stretching excercise, it may be easier to get a circumcision. On the other hand, the foreskin serves several purposes, and you risk losing some sensation from the foreskin and from the head of the penis if you remove the foreskin.

First off, ASOJ10, a more proper term is "Intact". It's the homosexual underground that uses "cut" and "uncut". Those terms tends to label the user as being ill-educated.
Second of all, circumcision destroys the natural, dynamic function of the intact penis, which is designed so that the foreskin, the glans, and the vagina and the vaginal spincters work together in a complex dance of love. Chopping off the foreskin results in a situation which resembles an automobile engine running low on oil. Circumcised men typically need LOTS of thick, greasy, artificial lubrication to facilitate intercourse, whereas intact men function fine on natural lubrication.
You may find some men who have eroticized circumcision and the exposed glans penis, but that anomalous fetishization of genital mutilation won't restore function.

You know, I agree with a lot of what you say, but I haven't found this to be the case.

Hi, Steve:To quote your message of 10 October at "It's Good to be circumcised ... isn't it?": "The glans, a mucous membrane, becomes less sensitive to touch when it dries out ... "Exactly! The naturally moist glans and foreskin are designed to prevent vaginal moisture from being wicked outside the vagina, where it tends to evaporate. If a man ejaculates quickly during intercourse, perhaps he (and she) will not particularly notice the loss of moisture, but, over time, the diminution of sensation in the circumcised penis tends to cause men to struggle to achieve orgasm. Inevitably, as vaginal moisture evaporates, intercourse becomes a long, dry, chafing, unpleasant experience, particularly for the woman. That's why artificial lubricants are sold in every pharmacy. If circumcision did not exist, neither would artificial lubricants.Rood

I'm confident that your boyfriend won't have any problem with you. Far from it! However, a scientific study would be valuable if a couple might be found who would agree to document the change, over time. Presuming that BF was circumcised at birth, he will not, of course, have anything else to compare. Whatever the nature of his current response, to him it is "normal", as it is all he has ever known. Time, alone, will reveal much about the change, but we are talking years and decades. It's not something that can be discovered in one night.Kristen & Jeffrey O'Hara have, of course, made one fascinating study of the phenomenon and documented the results in a book: Sex As Nature Intended It ... www.sexasnatureintendedit.comRood

I, like none of the (opinionated) above, was circumcised when I was 17. I had pinhole phimosis and stretching wasn't much of an option. Therefore, I have found life without a foreskin much nicer and easier. If there is no reason for you to be circumcised then I would suggest you don't bother. What's the point in mutilating yourself for no reason? I still miss my foreskin, but it wasn't any use to me (in its form), so I'm glad to have been circumcised.

If you have issues.. as you described.. then by all means circumcision is the best option.

I'm not debating that... :scream_cat:
