Hello, been awhile but I need to improve on a few things. I'm 5'6 180 and have ok definition in my body but i feel that from all my weight training and workout/exercises that i have defintion jsut need to lose weight. I'm need a diet to follow so i could achive a goal of atleast 155-160. Diet is most important, as for exercies i everday ride my indoor bike machine for 25 minutes non stop keeping at a speed above 30km/h and not going under and it sure does work up a sweat. Besides that I lift weights and what not. Im just wondering if anyone could give me ideas on wat kind of diet i should follow with specific foods. Thanks, siege

Ok, well why don't you start with telling us what you usually eat. It would give us a starting point.

Are we talking lbs here? I suppose I'll most likely get ripped apart for this, but actually 155lbs at 5.6 would still leave you above your recommended body mass index. Being above (or below) that is just not healthy. I'm 5.7 and a year or so ago went from 153 to 125lbs. I'm at a healthy weight now for my height according to my doctor. Maybe you should get a rough average of your ideal healthy weight from your doctor and work towards that. I ate plenty of grilled chicken and fish and made lots of turkey breast curries with boiled brown rice, lots of veg, loads of fruit and got big into the hillwalking, just in case you wanted to know how I dropped the weight.

Oh, excuse me, I've just realised I'm assuming you're a women, which may not be the case! If not, the BMI thing is calculated differently of course. If you really want to lose weight that grilled chicken and fish is a surefire winner, believe me!

You can never tell. Without looking at Helms and just reading the data most Doctors would say he's massively over weight too! In reality though he's probably the healthiest member of this board.
