I didn't want to be circumcised.I guess it must have been done after I was born because I don't remember it at all.I don't know why my parents opted for it though. And it pisses me off.I've heard some things about surgical foreskin restoration, even the keratinization on the head peeling off and the head gaining back most of it's sensitivity and such.Is this stuff true? Does it really work?

I'm angry about being circumcised.

My suggestion to you is to get over it and quit dwelling on it. Sounds mean but that's the way it is.

Check out the 'foreskin restoration' sites and try the non-surgical methods first. My own experience is that when coverage in the flaccid state is attained, there is softening of the surface of the glans with improved sensitivity but not much improvement in the shaft skin sensitivity.Every little bit helps though!

There is no need to dwell on something you can't fix. Just move on.

I have gone through foreskin restoration and follow-up surgery with good results. If anyone wants to know about it can e-mail me or PM me with questions and I will advise. I am happy I did it and it works good for me in spite what people might say.

Because with a restoration (which is a difficult process to go through), it can be better, according to the people who have gone through it. If it can be better, and you're dedicated and want it to be better, why not make it better? Some people are happy with what they have; other people want more. That applies to many aspects of life.

Hey man I know how you feel. The anger didn't hit me until about 6 months ago when I really put thought into it. I don't mind circumcision, and long as it's a decision a man makes when he is of age.Sometimes I wonder what I'm missing out on that nature intended, but when it's all said and done, it's all just water under the bridge.

I understand how you feel. if part of my genitals were needlessly removed without my informed consent, i'd be pissed too. you might find joining an anti-circumcision group to be helpful. this site has information about foreskin restoration: http://www.norm-uk.org/

I know it's hard to accept and deal with, but at at the same time, it's a much harder thing to go through when you're older. I was circumcised when I was born and yet, I've never thought about having restoration, etc, done to restore "the past". The cleanliness and the ability to not have to worry about every time in the shower is immeasurable. For those that wanted to have the decision later in life when you're "a man"...do you really realize how much pain you'd go through? And for the woman who wanted to comment on something she'd never go through, you have to be a male to understand what you're commenting on. It's the same as me commenting on an abortion or hysterectomy. I have no say in that and you have no say in this.

Then male gynecolegists and women urologists should have their medical licenses taken away? You're commenting on aspects of having a foreskin (cleanliness, showering) that, based on your criteria, you know absolutely nothing about, since you haven't had one since you were an infant.
