I read something or maybe I heard about it on tv I don't remember.that theres actually only a certain time in a month a woman can get pregnant, or maybe it was couldn't. and withen this time you could have sex without using any birthcontrol and you would be perfectly fine in not getting the girl pregnantand this was a form of birthcontrol back in the old days before condoms. is that true?

Hmm Odd
-
that theres actually only a certain time in a month a woman can get pregnantIt's called "ovulation".
-
Well then I shall read up on this, because I have ran out of things that entertain me on youtube and it never hurts to learn stuff
-
It's called the "rhythm method". Since it's notoriously difficult to precisely know when a woman is ovulating, the method, which AFAIK the only birth control method acceptable to the Catholic Church, has a relatively high probability of failure. Also, unlike a condom, which is a barrier method, it offers no protection against STDs.

You know I seem to remember the bible talk about sex for more then just reproducing
-
The Torah, Koran, and other holy books discuss the pleasuring that married couples are supposed to give each other. Since Jesus never discussed the matter, many Christians have the idea that sex is a punishment that people have to slog through to do their reproductive duty.

Hmm I see.
