Hi, here's a few things that concern me, i just want to know if it's normal or not.I have discharge every day - normal? My discharge is usually clear as it leaves my body, but dries yellow, and is usually a little thick and creamy, but with no itch, redness, or bad smell. it has been like this as long as i remember since i went on the pill 3 years ago. Normal? Also, 3/4 days after my period ends, i have a brown discharge which lasts only day or two and then goes back to normal. I have read this is just blood that wasnt shed during the period. is this true? 4 days seems a little long...I didnt want to confuse things. I am 20 years old and have been with my partner for 9 months. I had an STD check before we got together which was clear apart from "slight thrush" but i never had any symptoms such as itching, or cottage cheese discharge. I got treatment, but never noticed any significant difference because i didnt know anything was wrong in the first place!! I tend to worry since this happened, so your answers would be much appreciatedThank you xxx

All the things you described are normal, so you can stop worrying. Most women have a clear discharge when they're ovulating, that discharge turns to a thick white discharge other times of the month, then as you already mentioned, the discharge after periods (if any) can have a brownish hue to it.You could also track your cycle by the colour and thickness of your cervical discharge if you wanted. It's a good thing to know if you're trying to prevent pregnancy, but I wouldn't recommend using that method by itself.
