So i'm 17 and only recently attempted to retract my foreskin (never been done before). After a bit of stretching I can get around halfway down the head with little pain. Basically, i know i can pull down farther, i'm just afraid of the foreskin getting stuck behind the head, because my "phimotic ring?" i know is still very tight compared to others. Is this a valid fear to have? Should i see a doctor before going the entire way? Or should i retract it anyway? Thanks

Fear of Paraphimosis

I would say, if you're afraid of paraphimosis (heh, one of my pals was, too!), then just don't retract for a while.
Simple as that, continue stretching by pulling the skin up rather than down -- pulling it up and trying to open it with your fingers is an excellent and safe method to make the skin grow.

UPDATE i now know that i can retract past the head whan flaccid. I can retract to it, only about 1 mm from the actual end of the head, i'm just afraid to roll it down over due to fear it might get stuck? Should i retract over the head anyway

If it just barely manages, it could get stuck if you suddenly got an erection (or, actually, all that needs to happen is that the head fills up full).I'd still encourage you to stretch without pulling back -- if you do it regularly, you may get to retract in a couple weeks! It's not that much time; and better safe than sorry, neh?

If you are goign to stretch, then I recommend stretching by pulling back when you have a full erection. But don't go all the way. When pulling back with an erection, you maximize stretching of the opening.

Hmm, yeah, that's also cool, I forgot about that one.Emphasis on not pulling all the way down, though. It's important, because 1) that way it can't get stuck, and 2) the point of this method is that the growing head stretches the foreskin.
