ok, personally im grossed out about the amount of hair on my body. Just wondering if its possible if you can get it surgicly removed. And tans, is it weird for a guy to go tanning? can you tell if its not natural?

Tan/hair

You can get laser hair removal now, which is a bit costly, but, permanant, as for tanning... well, as my member name suggests, I'm in the forces, and, it has to be said, I know all of 2 or 3 women maybe who use the tanning machines, yet, there are an awful lot of men I know who use them, so, I wouldn't worry about it... personally, I don't, but, that's because I have a few large moles on my body, so, I choose not to take the risk... if you have moles, it might be wise to consult your doctor first, and, remember: just cause it'd be a tanning machine, you'll still need some kind of skin protection.
Anyway, hope this helped you

you'll still need some kind of skin protectionIt sounds like wearing a raincoat in the shower. What kind of skin protection?
-
Maybe sunscreen
-
It would be easier and more economical not to step into the booth in the first place.
It's like listening to a stereo with the speakers unplugged.
-
True, but some people just have to do it.
-
Why would those people step into a tanning booth? Just to be cool? One can be in a tanning booth for as little time as he wants to.
-
Steve, it's because they (Most girls) want to look their best.to look nice and tan instead of being all white and gross looking....
Dude, it's just a fact of life these days for this generation.. It's so much about fitting in and looking good to your peers...
Times have really changed since we were kids...

Jeeez, I'm not a complete moron. The question is, why would someone put on sunscreen and then go into a tanning booth?Unlike the sun at the beach, a tanning booth has a timer. It would be like putting on a dry suit and then stepping into the shower.
-
Sun at the beach has a timer, too. Just go inside.
-
I live near the beach. I understand beach. I have sand in my sneakers even as I type this.> Just go inside. That's not how it works. People drive to the beach, and for most people, there's no inside in which to go after 15 minutes. On the other hand, a tanning booth is designed to give a dose of UV-A radiation where the spectrum, intensity, and timing of the radiation dose is fairly precisely controlled. Unless something really goes wrong (like someone is left on the tanning bed for a l-o-n-g time), you won't see visible signs of a burn. (That is not to say that UV-A won't harm your skin -- a while back that was not known, and tanning booths were thought to be safe -- they will cause damage.)If you're going to wear sunscreen in a tanning booth, then you might as well walk up to the door of the salon, read the sign, turn around, and get back into your car. You will have had enough of a tanning experience.
-
to look nice and tan instead of being all white and gross lookingI kinda take offence to that. I have very fair skin and I don't want to tan but I don't think I'm gross looking
-
If you're light-skinned and you're not tan, then you're healthy-looking. If you stay non-tanned, your skin will really look healthier when you're older.
-
I know. So go me and "hahaha!" to all you who think they need to sun bake to be artactive and I hope you enjoy the wrinkles that your vanity will cost you in the future

OK, so I thought of a reason to use sunscreen in a tanning booth: to cover sensitive areas. You may want to cover your nose, or if you go it without a bathing suit, other sensitive areas.Tanning booths put out powerful UV, and are not at all safe. The only thing worse than going into a tanning booth is to smoke a pack of cigarettes while you're in there.
