Hello, I'm 14.I pretty much mainly browse these forums, rarely, because I'm interested in females...Anyways, when I was born...well, I was 2 months premature and they had to cut my Mom's stomache open I almosted died, I'm a twin:PNot sure if this has to do with anything though... Anyways, when I was circumcised at birth, the doctor missed a bit of my foreskin...and some of it's still there..and I hate it!When I get older, it will be extreamly embarassing when I'm having more serious afairs...Do you think I should talk to my parents now about getting it removed? They asked me about it when I was 6, but when I was 5 I had sugery before, and I was scared as shit to go through it again, and I really didn't understand or care, so...Now, I'm really too embarassed to ask my parents, and my twin and sister will make fun of me like there's no tommorow...I was thinking that once I'm 18, out of the house, in colledge, that I'd just do it then privately, and hope not to have sexual affairs before that.....What do you guys think? Thanks:)

Circumcision Questions.

Welcome to A2A, Yellow!
Why not talk to your parents? It wouldn't be a big operation, just done under local anaesthetic, and if it made you feel happier about yourself it would be well worth the embarrassment and discomfort. -
I would wait until you're 18 if you can. Doctors generally don't recommend circumcision procedures in the middle of puberty due to the rapid penis growth and frequent spontaneous erections that can interfere with the healing process. It can be done, but its not the ideal time to have it done. Although since you're already circumcised, and this would just be a touch-up procedure, it may not be a big deal. You should probably ask your doctor about it.

Man, just go ahead and tell your folks. I decided to do the same thing you did when I was 15 (not tell anyone) and I ended up being to embarrassed to have sex with my at the time girlfriend. we ended up breaking up and now I'm almost 18 and still uncut. I'm way worse off then you by far, though. I told my mother about 6 months ago and it was a freakin' LOAD off big time. Only problem is a circumcision is not in our budget so I can't really do anything about so I'm stuck with an unretractable foreskin. I don't want to approach a woman till I get this taken care of, but I do have a woman in mind. ;]

Have you read the Stretching techniques in the Male Anatomy thread?

You should bear in mind that when you are in college, you probably won't have much money to go getting private operations.I agree that you should see a doctor for their advice - I doubt a simple 'tidy up' would be a major problem at your age.Don't worry about your brother and sister making fun of you. Maybe you can get your parents to make up a story about what's happening, or even arrange to have a holiday with relatives for a few days after the op. Either way, you mustn't let your childhood insecurities affect your later life, which is what will happen if you are bothered about this now and you don't fix it.You are becoming a young man, and sooner or later you have to do things which seem hard or uncomfortable. When you are at college you will have friends there too, that will also make fun of you - it won't be any easier! It's just the way people are, they don't mean any harm by it, it's just too much fun to stir your friends up sometimes.Good luck, and get medical advice, but my advice is that if you know something has to happen, don't put it off. Do it sooner rather than later.

Judging or making fun of people because of foreskin is bullsh*tt. You know, in an European country like where I live, people would make fun of somebody who does NOT have a foreskin.
