Whatever clothes I wear they create almost an umbrella effect on my clothes making me look sort of chubby (and I'm not at all). Most of my clothes are 100% cotton. How could I make them more form fitting? And "de-stiff" them.

De-stiffing clothing

With so many people overweight, clothing is often designed for people with larger guts. Take a shirt. Generally looks like:||||down one of the sides. However, a good way to make you look slimmer, is to look for shirts that do this:||\ \obviously to not as high of a degree... but what can I do with letters?Buy clothing that has up-down stripes. Suits with pinstripes will help. Do not have cuffs sewn onto your suit pants, and buy pants that aren't baggy so you don't have to roll up your legs. This will help you look less "stocky," which will in turn make you look not only thinner, but taller as well French cuffs on your sleeves will make you look more slimmed, as they have more of a slit appearance than an open circle like most cuffs:French: C>Normal: OMake sure you know how each shirt fits you. Some will make you look chubbier when you tuck. Some will do it when they aren't tucked. Mostly though, untucked shirts look slimmer. If you tuck, buy some of those stretchy things that wrap around your feet and clip to the bottom of your shirt. That will keep your shirt very clean-cut looking. It won't buldge out the side of your pants and will fit more slim-like and closer to your body.I'm 5'4" and use some of these things to give me a taller appearance. Try them for you, and see if you look skinnier

I'm talking more with not buying new clothes and stuff and not suites, just regular wear.

If the clothes you already have make you look chubby, how do you think you can change that with out getting different clothes? You need to buy more fitting clothing. There is no other way I can think of fixing this "problem"

Alright, thanks for the help buddy

Actually.I do have one thing you could try for the clothes you already have. Make sure you button up any shirts you wear. Button the middle three or four buttons. Leave the bottom button open, and leave the top one open. This will give you a slimming look in your mid-region. And if your pants are tight enough, it will flow downward off into your hips.

I'll be sure to try that out, thanks.
