Marijuana
-
What is your question?
-
The lingo? Are you looking for other names for marijuana?Weed, pot, ganja, cannabis, mary jane, grass, dope, herb, green, hash, skunk, hemp...Or are you looking for information?
-
I was pretty much asking for the different names, but other information would be great.
-
Here is some information from Google.
-
What other information would you like to know? Whats in it? What it does to you? What different types there are? Its legal status? Its ethical status? Its effects, both good and bad?
-
Where to buy some?
-
Well, unless he lives in North Dublin, I can't really help there...
-
all I know is that is slows you down...anything else? And im pretty sure its illegal, although i've heard alcohol and cigarettes are worse.
-
You're pretty sure it's illegal? What country do you live in?It distorts your sense of reality. Some people laugh a lot. Some people get really hungry. Some people get really paranoid.
-
Yes, its illegal in most Western countries. A lot of people think that its unrestricted in Canada, but its really not. There are quite strict regulations on it, its to be used for medicinal purposes. Its legal for recreational purposes in the Netherlands tho.As to its effects, yes it can slow you down, especially with prolonged use, but the temporary efect is to mellow you out. But it can have nasty side-effects, such as paranoia. As far as substances go, alcohol and tobacco are worse. They are 2 of the biggest killers in America and most of Europe. Marijuana has, of yet, had 0 confirmed deaths as a direct result of use. But thats not to say that it isn't bad for you. When it is smoked it has the same effects as smoking cigarettes, but to a lesser degree. Some forms of marijuana, such as Hash, are processed and harmful chemicals are sometimes added that make it more dangerous.
-
let it be noted that not one case of lung cancer has been confirmed from the sole use of marijuana. have a nice day :-)
-
can you explain to me the different ways of smoking it. the only thing i've heard of is a bong
-
It can be smoked like a cigarette. Have you ever heard the term "joint"?Were did you hear about bongs?
-
so a joint= a marijuana cigarette? I've seen bongs in a couple movies
-
Yes. It sounds like you know virtually nothing about marijuana. If you're 15 and you haven't heard the term "joint", then you've led a very sheltered life.To explain about marijuana would take a long essay. There's not much point to that, since so much has already been written on the subject. Are you familiar with Google? If you do a search on something like marijuana or information on marijuana should turn up a lot of information. It would be better to look over some of that stuff, and come back with questions.

i am a regular pot user... and i say ur better off with it... just stick to parties and alcohol. Although it ain't that bad for you compared to the other drugs and the health effects dunt bother me at all... the worst part of it is the risk involved. Money problems, other ppl owning money, risk of getting caught. I get into arguments with all my friends about money and how much they owe me. Everyone should try weed at least once before they finish school, but not all the time. Weed is fun when ur with the right people.
-
I think this is a dead thread. But since you brought it back up, you should watch The History of Marijuana. Its really interesting, it talks about the illegalisation of Marijuana, all the stupid things they used to say about it to scare people, and it talks about how loads of really young people went to jail for years for being caught smoking just a few times.
-
"Where to buy some? "HA!!! That was my first thought
-
loads of really young people went to jail for years for being caught smoking just a few times.Like in Texas a while back, when governor-to-be Bush was boozing and coking it up. Later on he said that people deserve a second chance after their youthful indiscretions (his youth seemed to have extended through his late 30's), but he didn't seem to have much mercy for his fellow drug users who went to prison while he was Texas governor.
