So far I've heard so many different ways of losing weight, but none of them seem to work. My whole family is muscular, even the women, so I've inherited a somewhat bigger frame than most girls. I try to work out as much as I can, and that's only when I have motivation. Right now I don't seem to have any motivation. I'm depressed because I've packed on a few pounds and I'm a little bigger than I'd like to be. How can I work out and eat right without building up muscle? My gym teacher told me girls can't build muscle easily, but that doesn't hold true for me. HELp.

well if u want to lose weight than do a lot of anerobic activities such as running, swiming, bike riding...stuff like that, it will build up ur muscles...but u wont look bulky...it'll give u a leaner look...more longated sorta...

i would suggest getting a body fat analysis done to figure out how much you should weigh for your body type etc... if you have a muscular frame you will probably weigh more than your non-muscular friends without looking heavy. then when you determine your body comp then you can figure out what you want to do to change it.

Well I weigh about 130 pounds and I'm 5'7.5". Even though some girls I know who look thinner than me weigh more, I still am bulky looking and can't seem to get rid of the problem spots I want to by working out. I just build up muscle, and I know I don't have enough testosterone to do so, but it seems as if I do.

um...u seem very under weight for ur size in my opinion my sis is the same height and ways close to 145 and she sometimes looks like she's anarexic or sumthing...so id say ur at a good weight

hmmm i'd say thats a pretty decent weight for you and it certainly wouldn't hurt if you gained a little weight too.i'm 5'5 and 135 pounds and muscular and very thin. muscle weighs more than fat.i'd really suggest getting your body fat taken-- you'd see that you are in the normal range...

if you do high rep low weight weight exercises that will help quite a bit. but cardio is the best thing you can do.

yeah, i have to eat a horse just to have a enough protein to sustain them while i get out of bed. man i am massive.
