Well then it looks like I'm even more screwed up because at this point, I'm not concerned. I've been told it's probably not, whether it's true or not, I guess i dont care.it may be because im in a bad mood, but i dont know. something really screwed up is going on and noone is helping me. chance of me walking to a doctor is slim to.

I only used a tumor as an extreme example of how there are many possible explanations for your headaches. If your doctor cannot figure it out, he is obligated to refer you to someone with more expertise. He can't say "Well, I dunno! Its probably not a tumor."
-
Well he did.
-
Well then that is all the more reason to go find a different one, and be sure to mention that thats all he said.
And if you don't care, then why did you come here? We don't sit here to just agree with you and say "yup, you're screwed." We are here to help, we offer every form of assistance that anonymous internet people can offer. One of the Mods or Admins may even be helpfull enough to try find a doctor in your area for you, as long as you do it in PMs.

I came here to see if people could help, and I've only gotten one radical reason to go and walk to a doctor without mentioning it to my parents.I guess I'll just leave and not ask for help, perhaps I'll die too. Maybe then I wont have to suffer headaches and sleeplessness.Bye bye.

I wasn't actually questioning your reasoning for coming here, I was just pointing out that you DO care about what happens to yourself! Every single person cares about themselves, even people who commit suicide care about themselves enough to hate themselves! If you think that you can explain to your parents why you need to go to the doctor, then tell them. If you know that they will hamper any attempt to seek help, then leave them out of it until you know whats wrong.A constant headache for weeks is not normal, its not healthy.

Well then I guess i'm not a healthy person. my parents dont seem to care much eitehr and im at a loss.

Quote: Here's another idea. If your parents are not taking you seriously, go see a counselor at school. Let them know how you're feeling and that you don't feel that your parents are taking you seriously. Is this not a reasonable idea? I know a lot of counselors at schools that would love to help a student in need. Especially someone that feels like someone is not listening to them.It seems like your attitude is, "The doc said twice that there is nothing wrong with me, and everyone else is saying it to, it must mean that there isn't anything wrong with me". Well, here's the thing. I was in constant pain for something like 2 years. I had several different doctors think there wasn't anything wrong with me. "Oh, he just doesn't want to go to school" is what they said to my mom a lot of times. Or they would give me all kinds of things to try. None of it worked. Finally, I had an infection that made one of my doctors decide to do test and finally diagnosed me with Crohns Disease.Doctor's are people too. They make mistakes. One peice of advice when dealing with doctors. If they ask you how bad the pain is, tell them something that's worse than you honestly think it is. It was only then that I could get them off their asses to actually do something about it.
