You mean Barack Obama??? http://obama.senate.gov/I too don't think it'll fly.
Me either. But it'll be fun while it lasts
he scares me for some reason. and I keep having the worst feeling that if Hillary becomes President... it will be the end of the earth... I don't know just saying lol
You have quite a different political system to oursWe have two potential leaders now firmly in placeAre Barack and Hilary seen as the Democrat front runners? As Bush has had a word in our Prime Ministers ear to go out and try to discredit Barack he must be a little worried.
ok i did not understand one line of wut u wrote.....and i'm azn....i thought we were supposed to be smart
Well.... ditto?I'll speak in english next time
I was talkign to my step dad a few days ago about this and he said something along the lines of "Naw, neither him or Hillary will get in, Americans just arent ready for that, theres to much racisim and sexists down there, If they were running in canada they might stand a chance, I tend to think women make great prime ministers though, its a shame..." so yea, I think Hillary would be a good president, and i'd just love to see a female president. And no offence to any americans, I'm just repeating what my step dad said.
"I tend to think women make great prime ministers"Maybe people sill remember Margaret ThatcherGiven that the Dems will win the next election, is there a white male up there in the running?
Are Barack and Hilary seen as the Democrat front runners? They are seen that way at this moment. But a lot could change in the next 2 years.
Actually, I kind of like Barack. I think he is an excellent speaker.
I think your step dad is right, Hillary did a fine job the first 8 year she was president, no reason to think she would be any different this time around.America is not ready for woman tobe in charge, I dont know that they ever will be but Id bet my right nut that if she was the final demo canidate, they would elect another republican instead of her. Same goes for a black man, even if he won.....Years ago there was a bit of stand up by eddie murphy about a black man being elected and dodging bullets while taking the oath of office. For all the advances and advantaes america has, we are nto ready for either a black man or a woman to be president. narrow minded fuck head super power is all that we are.

It's also ironic how we like to shove democracy onto other countries, but we still can't get over our own prejudices.
It would tickle me pink if our next President were black AND a woman. But she ain't running.I like Obama. I think he's a good man. Just doesn't have any experience yet.
Actually, America didn't elect a female Speaker of the House. Her Congressional district voted her in as Congresswoman. She became Speaker of the House when her party became the majority party, and her fellow Democratic Congressmen elected her as Speaker. Big difference.
Actually, I don't think they are. I think they are willing to talk the talk, but come voting time, I think that is one of the main things that will keep her from winning. Well, that and the fact that she is a whiny, hypocritical, slanderous witch.

Isn't that how all men view powerful, outspoken women? And, if anything, the people writing books about Clinton should be the ones labeled slanderous.
Also, that description sounds a lot like Ann Coulter, the queen of slander.
I take issue of your depiction of men. There are many women in powerful positions (including my supervisors) who I would in no way think that about. In fact I would describe them as strong, competent, and count myself lucky for being able to work for. The problem is, when a woman is whiny and bitchy and is not taken seriously, she is very likely to respond with some version of "men don't like powerful women". That's a straw man argument. As for Anne Coulter, what has she said that is slanderous? And of course I don't have to point out the difference between an author/commentator and a politician seeking the Presidency of the United states.
