Okay, I'm 17. The girl I'm going to be asking out is 18.. we live in a smaller city so there isn't alot to do. We've been out a few times.. we've done dinner, then a movie another day, then we went and played pool another day, and just this weekend we went out for dinner again. What are some other good ideas for dates? I'm planning on asking her out next time we do something, so preferrably something kind of romantic and sweet that she would like. Thanks so much for any replies

Well, what is all there to do in your small town?

Uhm, we have a semi-pro hockey team which would be good since she likes hockey, but they don't have any home games this weekend. The only other thing thatever goes on around here are house parties and that kind of thing. Wow, I honestly can't think of anything besides that and the stuff I mentioned in my previous post. This town is kind of boring Guess that's why I came here, for some outside-the-box ideas :P

How about renting a movie of her (or both) choice? That's pretty simple.

You could go ice skating or bowling if you have either of those facilities in your small town (you mentioned the pro-hockey team, so I'm assuming there's a rink nearby.. find out when public skating hours are)... I see you're from Canada, so I'm guessing you have snow on the ground.. you could always go sledding. (The bowling idea may not be the most romantic idea, but it's fun.. and the other 2 ideas can be super sweet and can lead into going for coffee or hot chocolate afterwards to warm up!)

picnic in the park? maybe just hang out at one of your places to watch dvds? if your seeing her this much why dont you just go steady, then you can enjoy spending time with her without having to come up with date ideas.

Yeah picnic in the park will work, its only -40 out. It's canada that wont work.

Now to be fair, I haven't seen -40 (with wind chill) in at least 3 weeks now (and I'm in Southern Ontario)
Besides, it has to be -50 before most Canadians refuse to outside; otherwise we just bitch about the cold when it's between -5 and -49 degrees.
