I'm getting really freaked out about my body. Last year my periods were really random and even skipped at least 5 months once. My mom said it was normal, so I didn't really put much thought into it.
About two months ago, my period came and there was lots of blood. It stopped for about a week, then came again, but stopped the next day.
Then around february there was alot of blood again but then it lessened though it never really went away. Instead of the usual amount of blood during periods, there's very little of it and it comes everyday. It's been going on for two weeks now, almost three.
There's also these dark red blobs of blood coming out, around the size of a pinky finger. :fearful: I don't know what's going on!

Lots of bleeding

How old are you?
I'm going to assume that such and irrigular period would mean you are quite young.
The dark red blobs is just your blood clotting but you would be best to talk to your doctor about the irrigularity and heavy bleeding. He or she may just want you to go on the pill or other medication to reduce the heavy bleeding.
So, to sum it up: Talk to your doctor.

its normal, but you still need to talk to your doctor.i used to go a month or more without getting my period and i got freaked out, but i went to the doctor, she gave me birth control, and now i expect it every month in the same week with a light flow.the pill really helps and if you've laready talked to your mom about it, then it shouldnt be that much of a shock to her and i would hope wouldnt be too embarassing.

I'm 15 yrs old. Thanks but, is it okay if my period has been going on for almost three weeks now?
-
I think with that sort of bleeding you certainly need to see a doctor.

3 weeks? Thats a long time. I would deffinatley talk to your mom and then see what she says.

I know what you are going thru, i am 18 and have been going thru the same thing until i went to the doctor and they put me on the pill and everything has been regular ever since, but yeah go to your doctor, trust me they can definately help
