Condoms

You can buy them at any age and theres no need to be embaressed about it. The shop assistant isn't judging you, all sorts of people will go there to buy them every day.I think you can get free ones from places like family planning clinics. And good for you for thinking ahead and being safe.

ya thats a good point about the clerks, and who cares if they judge me its not like im ever going to see them again

yea, i had to buy condoms for my friends, no seriously, its not one of those "ohh its for my friend" type thing. she was having sex and wudnt buy condoms bc she was embarassed, so i didnt want ehr to get pregnant so i would go in the store.but the guy that was cashing was like 35 and had a wedding band, and when he scanned them gave me the dirtiest look, and i was like "ohh like you've never needed to buy them before"people are stupid.there isnt an age, but the ones at the free clinics arent always the best quality,so id read to boxes and shop around.P.S. you could also force your bf to buy them

Actually you shouldn't have to force him; he should be doing it on his own.Buying anything private for the first time can cause nervousness; but ultimately, if you're ready to use it, you can do it.The greatest rule of thumb is this: If you're too embarrassed to discuss sex or the rules of it; you probably shouldn't be doing it yet.

As a guy, I usually prefer to buy my own anyways; I have preferred brands and styles that I find work better. I'm the one with the penis; it's my job to cover it, so I may as well choose my own condom.

Quote:The greatest rule of thumb is this: If you're too embarrassed to discuss sex or the rules of it; you probably shouldn't be doing it yet.yeah i kept repeating something like that to myself the first time i went to buy some...., and i set a rule that if i couldent be mature enough to protect my self than i wasnt mature enough to endanger myself either...one thing i might suggest if ur gonna buy ur own is to go to a self check out line....usually my store of choice is walmart...its so big that i dont really stick out....and also...put something in your basket so that you can cover the condoms with...my concern isnt really the ppl that work there...its running into plp i know...but yeah...those r my little secrets to condome shopping

PLaces like Walmart have the self checkout too.. If you are paying cash.. it's pretty simple.

But to be fair; it really is something you have to face and get over with.
Really, everyone else has sex too...also, all women use tampons or maxi pads at some point, and in our old age we're all going to be using Preparation-H.
And in the end of it; people don't really care. Even the people who know who you are probably could honestly care less.
