If you like to go to the movie theater, then you need to go and watch Wild Hogs! I just saw the movie a couple of hours ago and I thought it was so funny! I've been on a Ray Liotta kick for the last couple of days so I had to go see it... I think its worth watching because the laughs just keep on coming! Has anyone else watched any new and interesting movies?

...Movies...

i watched Epic movie and thought it was THE biggest pile of crap i'd seen for a long time, and the clips of it looked real funny!!! i was a tad disappointed lol
-
Well, considering that I skip college nearly every day and go to the cinema, I think I may have seen a few...The Illusionist was good, bit creepy but it was entertaining. Epic Movie was, as Angel said, absolute shite! It was just the same jokes over and over, the only funny ones were in the trailer. Altho Jack Swallows' impersonation was really good! The Last King of Scotland was really good, and while I thought Peter O'Toole really deserved the Oscar, Forest Whitaker was a close second. Its a great story, and the fact thats its all based on real events just makes the sickening feelings so much stronger!Venus is my favourite movie so far this year, I just loved it. Peter O'Toole is kinda creepy at first, his deathly face and wheezy breathing making ya feel a bit uncomfortable. But you get over it and get to watch a beautiful, if not unconventional, love story.Babel was good, even if people find it to be pretentious. Again, I think that Adriana Barraza deserved the Oscar, not Jennifer Hudson, but its in the past. Even if you don't like these types of movies, its interesting to watch cause it has an uncommon look into the life of Japanese teenagers, and be prepared to leave with a bit of an asian fetish.Black Book is just great! Set in Holland during WWII, its about a Jewish girl who becomes a spy for the resistance to find out who betrayed and killed her family. Subtitles for most of the movie, but its definately one to watch! There are lots more, but I think I seem sad enough as it is...

I loved the Illusionist! I was wary of the film at first, but I finally broke down and rented the movie and I enjoyed it immensely. I've been wondering about Babel, I've wanted to see it but then again, I've been on the fence about it. I'll just have to try it out and see if I like it.I watched The Prestige and Little Miss Sunshine the other night and I was absolutely disappointed with those movies! How LMS was nominated for an academy award is beyond me because the move was complete rubbish! I'll admit there were a few funny parts (close to the end) but 95% of the movie was packed with crap. The Prestige (for me) was too slow to start, tried to take on too many mysterious events at one time and was completely filled with deceitful acts that makes no sense to the viewer unless you pay close attention to every second of the film. The ending was just odd as well. The only think I enjoyed about the movie was the special effects, which in my opinion were rather spectacular in parts. All in all it wasn't a movie I enjoyed nor would I suggest it to others but its different strokes for different folks.

I saw "Zodiac" this weekend with my boyfriendThat was some crazy shit. Though the ending was kinda disappointing.. but I guess they had to stay true to the story

I only go to the movies for church!! it's not fair I want to go see a movie so bad but I either never have time or I don't have the money. load of monkey butt. so many movies I want to see too. I did go to my friends house though and see National Treasure and the Bourne Supremacy. awesome movies lol and then we saw When a Stranger Calls... I will never babysit OR answer the phone again. matter of fact I'm just never going to stay home alone.
-
lol damn, if i could remember what that guy says in the movie i would call you in an instant!
otherwise i saw ,ghost rider, wild hogs, pick of destiny, and school for scoundrels recently,
Ghost rider was pretty cool, i didnt like the way he sounded and spoke as the ghost rider, or the "blackheart" guy either how he was written or acted was very plain and boring, albeit some funny parts " Blackheart: Myyyyy name is Leeee-gion. For we are
[inhales]
Blackheart: maaaaa-ny" that was hilarious, but i liked how they did the constant changing dubbed over look with their demonic sides, but i HATED the end song, obviously "ghost riders" that was just annoying i loved the version in "blues brothers 2000" but i dont know who originally did it
Wild hogs was pretty funny as well as disturbing at times, but cool
Pick of destiny was awesome i love jack black specially as a singer
school of scoundrels was surprising actually, i didnt see much if any of the previous jon heder as i had in napolean dynamite and benchwarmers (to me same exact character actions and whatnot)but not a bad flic -
watched ghost rider last night and wasn't in the least impressed, i love nicolas cage but he was crap in it.......oh for a film that leaves you pleased you took the time to watch it sigh i watched top gear straight after and enjoyed that 150% more.........LOL
-
Was that the Top Gear that they turned the cars into stretch limos? I loved Clarkson's stretch Panda!
-
yep i LOVE LOVE LOVE top gear......its one of my fav shows and the limo one was, as usual soooo funny...not a patch on the winter olympics one but i so loved that one.....it was the last one in the series last night cries how ever am i going to amuse myself now?????

I suppose you'll have to entertain yourself with boring ol' sex...
-
While not exactly new, Ill tell you a few great mopvies that can not disapoint.....
The Departed
Lucky number slevin
an oldie but greaty, Things to do in Denver when your dead.
This weekend we hid, I took care ofa few things but mostly we hid in the house with the lights off, watched some movies and had some sex.
I was hapy to see Desperation, I liked it in the beginning but I was disapointed by midway through. Julie liked it all though so I suppose its jsut because I had read the book that I didnt love the movie.
I sat through Failure to launch last night too.
While it wasnt the type of movie I normally enjoy it wasnt bad. I even managed to laugh a few times.
I will say though that they cuold of filmed Terry in his naked scenes from the waste up and I would of been happier than having to look at Bradshaws ass, atleast Kathy Bates didnt have any nude scenes.
Julz has been pissed at me because I exploded when his buddy is eating carrat sticks when he should be holding the fucking rope. I suppose Im just a climber all the way through, even when watching a dipshit movie. And I do enjoy seeing someone being bit by a dolphin. -
you evil bum

I rented the Donnie Darko director's cut CD, and didn't have time to see it, but with the help of HandBrake, I was able to save the two CDs as MP4 files. (To the copyright holders: I 'll delete them right after I watch them).
-
lol awwwww i wouldnt do that, mainly because i dont know what the dude says isnt it something like "have you checked on the children?" HEY! i can call ya when your babysitting and do that sweet!
-
I liked 'The Illusionis' as well. It actually surprised me. But I liked 'The Prestige' better. Katie is right when she said it starts kind of slow, but it's worth hanging in there. I actually bought it so I can watch it again.I also loved...I mean REALLY loved 'The Departed'. And Babel. I thought it was decent. I didn't think it was too pretentious, and I'm usually leading the "how pretentious!" pack. I agree Bobbo, Adrianna Barazza was amazing. I hope we see more of her.

Anyone who didnt like the Departed shuold be kicked in the nuts till they fall off. From the scenes hes asking the daughter if she got her period to Matt Damon taunting the firemen at the game to Jack asking priests about sucking little boys peters to the very end I cant go into because I dont want to spill spiollers, its all a great show, thought provoking and while it had along running time, it never felt like I was sitting there for hours on end and when the fuck is this going to be over so I can go smoke ?and Mark in those booties and gloves.... matts line of pffff OK..... What a great fucking show.Dad, yeah, Im gonna be missing dinner, go on with out me and Ill catch up later.I myself can not text message with the phone in my pocket and not looking, but I bet atleast 30% of teens can.
