Who is CC? Christopher Columbus? Charlie Chaplin? Cornedbeef and Cabbage? Is that who you could live without?
-
I dunno... who CC is. I retract my earlier comment.
-
I think he meant CCR.Its hard to argue against CCR being on the list of all time greats.Forgarty is an imense talent, and honeslty he is CCR.

when I see "CC" my first thoughts are of Canadian Club rye wiskey.
Musically, maybe 10cc who were resposible for the haunting and dreamy "I'm not in love".
They arrived at their band name from the exact same source as "Lovin Spoonful". I'm sure with a bit of thought, someone can figure that out.and that is the Unsupervised music trivia lesson for today, Monday March 12th. Don't forget to tune in next time.

You forgot CC Deville, the guitarist for Poisen, the one that on the MTV awards was so fuckered up he played the wrong song and the band followed because they didnt knwo what else to do and got soem teeth busted out by brett micheals after the song back stage.I never likd poisen, it just wasnt real metal but they looked metal, they were wanna be bad boys that played to the girls. Ill give the bastage credit fro being a pretty damned good guitarist though. Fucking Glam rockers.

I liked Poison back in the day.

Your a woman, Id be suprised if you didnt. When they were big I was heavy into Metallica, Judas Priest, Slayer, Megadeath, Grim Reaper, SOD and MOD The forever a rock god even though hes talentless in music now Ozzy, Ronnie James Dio, I even made it to some LA Guns concerts and Faster Pussy cat. FastWay, Motor head, Sex Pistols, Krokus,Iggy pop, The fucking greats.youd beinga woman Id bet were soaking your panties to Kip winger, Bon Jovi, Poisen, White Snake, White Lion, the shit that Great WHite did after the first album ( twice bitten one shy)Def Leppard, Fire House, I knwo the bands the girls liked, the ones that dont go well for a speed/death metal most pit. I even had mixed feelings about Motley crue, one hand they wanted to Rock, and did for a while, on the other, they got caught up in the glam bullshit and I dont think anythign I saw of them starting with half the shit on Dr Feelgood was worth hearing if you had a weenie.Il give credit for one band that all the girls loved that still fucking rocked, Damn Yankees. The Motor cuty madman ted nugent, with tommy shaw of styx and jack fucking blades of night ranger, how could you not like that band?Ther was a fourth member.... his name escapes me, I could look it up by I dont really care, he was the drummer....
-
Well, I don't think I was soaking my panties being that I was about 11 years old back then. lol. But I was and always will be a Slayer fan. Maybe that's why I am so uncool for this thread.
-
Chance, you vastly underestimate Lish's musical tastes. I happen to know she likes a lot of shit way cooler than thos glam boy butt poser bands you rhymed off.(yeah, fuck off... I spelled it POSER!)
-
Buuuuuurrrrn!Have I told you how sexy you look when you burn people?
-
riddle me this, those glam band fuck face idiots that were so big, did they not anly achive fame because of girls soaking panties while slobbering on album covers?
I may of been off with lish, but she was 11, if she was in high school at the time she would of been one of the brain washed wanna be metal girls I fucked in high school.
there were very few girls I knew and not many more that I knwo now that didnt wet themselves when they heard a song by any of those bands on the radio.
I one atended a bon jovi concert simply because I knew there would be many many girls there, i was right, and I was one of maybe 100 men that went atleast one of 100 that paid for general addmission. they got saoked from teh show, and I got soaked from them after at teh pioneer wagon motel that used to be 2 blocks north of the salt palace in the late 80's.
Im nto complaining understand, I had a good time.
How many girls do you know from high school to mid 20's in that glam sham era that did not list those bands as absolute faves ?
Your in Canada, close enough to the US that Id guess, not to fucking many.... I assumed lish was older than 11 in those years, she was a slayer fan, I give her credit for that, its also why I assumed she was older. in the age group Im speaking of I bet you wont find too many in the US, to canada, and alot of the rest of an english speaking world of the UK that didnt finger bang themselves toa frothy foam at ngiht under a poster of brett micheals, or kip winger, if thye were rightous maybe even stryper ! but thats only for the really sick chics  -
He looks alot like a sock puppet of the hanson brothers to me, before he lit into me and after, looks the same.
I love the Hansons, but yuo do know they were all dorks right? they got no ass after the ice, atleast not in Slap Shot, they were busy playing with thier fucking toys, or beating the shit out of a coke machine because it stole a quarter. -
ahh, chance, my friend of limmited musical exposure. My avatar is of an album cover. My Game by the Hanson Brothers (same guys as NoMeansNo)the cover art itself is a spoof of My War by Black Flag (which is the current theme song I have on MySpaceAnd sure, I remember the girls with big hair getting all hot over the guys with big hair. That was all well and good for a while but my tastes quicky evolved to the mohawk chicks. Believe me, Henry Rollins had the same affect on the young lassies as John BJHere's an Idea buddy... lets go concet trolling, just for old times sake
-
LOL god damned it, do you think I dont knwo what album cover it is?Iv been to teh brothers web site, Iv seen slapshot nearly 200 times. as a true fan I refuse to watch the second one.I cant go trolling, Im as good as married remember?I did not knwo it was a rip off of black flags album, I did know it was an album and even what album.Damnit man give me some credit !I simply attacking you and kicking ya a bit, i expected the same in return, but to attack my musical tastes adn knowledge... thats fucking a cheap shot.
-
Quote:but to attack my musical tastes adn knowledge... thats fucking a cheap shothangs headsorry brotherActually, NoMeansNo was the last concert I was at. I got a bit too hammerd for the trolling but that's no big deal. I was just happy to witnes, once again, those Canadian punkrock icons and to wake up the next day to find the concert shirt I didn't remember buying.Good times good times... I dealt with my hangover that day with a visit to Tora Tattoo
