my problem lies in the fact that i have excessive underarm perspiration. does anyone know how to lessen underarm sweat? or decrease the amount you perspire in general? also, does certain dri really work? thanks.also, perhaps there is something in my diet that increases sweat? I drink a lot of coffee, could caffeine have something to do with it? just a hypothesis based on nothing haha.

Excessive armpit sweat

Umm, you could shave your pits.
-
Shaving is not going to do it. It may make it worse. So, you're saying you've tried anti-perspirants and they don't help?
-
yea i've used anti perspirants and if they work their effect is minimal. and i'm definitely not going to shave my pits haha

I feel your pain! I don't OD though... like crazy sweating. But I hate sweating so I always try to keep myself cool or I wear sleeveless T's. But it only happens when I'm in dance rehearsal or playing soccer. Shaving has nothing to do with it. I have no hair at all whatsoever. I think something's wrong with me I'm almost 16. But... try keeping your arms away from your body. Usually whenever I have a dance performance and I start to sweat a little I put tissue under there still I'm ready. Helps alot. Don't buy an antiprespirant... (sp?) because you NEED to sweat. It gets rid of all the toxins in your body.

and well, playing soccer, and dancing, it means your body is very adept at cooling itself. sweat is very good for the body. althought no one likes to be sweaty all the time when not doing extrenous stuff.

I'll go with that.. friends just said they sweat less when they shave.

Well I'm not 100% sure i agree with you there sdp. If this person has a lot of underarm hair, wouldn't that prevent the antiperspirant from getting to the skin and doing its job?
