I think I might possibly have irritable bowel syndrome. Does any one have any signs of symptoms etc? Currently I really can't eat anything with out getting majorly bloated with tons of gas. I normally get a little indigestion too. I normally get bad upset stomachs too and like my stomach just seems like it had a hard time digesting things. Even if I take Beano before, Rolaids after, and lactose pills I still get the same symptoms. I've been taking fiber daily at night and this has kept me very regular and makes things easier to pass. However if I miss a day etc, I don't go on time etc. Before the fiber things were normally hard to pass, or sometimes they'd be really easy to pass almost like diarrhea.Any ideas? My diet isn't the best, but I've been taking a multi-vitamin and fiber regularly. I don't eat many fruits or veggies. I do eat a lot of bread etc. I am a very high strung person and generally if I'm stressed etc, my stomach seems to be worse.

IBS?

I don't drink any pop and very rarely have caffeine (it's only been occasionally that I've been having a tiny bit of coffee maybe like once a week). I feel that I drink a lot of water, but thats because it is pretty much all I drink, however I don't know if it is 64 ounces worth. I wouldn't say I eat healthy food, it would go more along the lines of junk food.

My dad has the same problem. Whenever he eats rice or any other legume, his stomach gets irritated.Maybe you should include some vegetables in your daily nutrition.

I recommend that you tear down your diet to very little (Maybe water, white enriched bread (preferably toasted), tuna, bananas) and then slowly build it back up. You need to figure out what foods mess with your digestive tract and what doesn't. Also, it wouldn't be a bad idea to see a general physician and ask if it would be a good idea to see a gastrologist.

I have been suffering from IBS for the last 6 years...actually going on 7 now I think. Anyways I back up what Websex has said. It's good to find out what your trigger foods are. Also stress can be a big factor as well when it comes to flair ups.
