Alright, so I want to workout my legs that mainly targets them, and maybe CV. But I dotn want to have to run and all that, its ahrd on my ankles and knees. However besides running, I don't like to do squats with weights because I feel really unsafe doing it, also machines dont give me a safe feeling either, so I know I'm being picky but is there workouts best besides squats and lunges, etc.

Put one of those swiss ball thingies against a wall, put your middle back against the ball, feet slightly wider than shoulders, squat down till your thighs are parallel to the floor, then up again...really slow and controlled. Use a couple of light dumbbells for added resistance.Lunges with 10-15 lbs weights, never extending your forward knee past your toe.Kicks!! use a heavy bag or set up a bar to paractice kicking above the bar, and never forget to stretch if you're gonna kick!Squat down and walk like a duck for 50 steps, touch your heel to your toe on each step, turn around and walk back.Squat down, jump up as high as humanly possible, bring your knees to your chest at the pinnacle of your jump, and try to land as soft as possible, by absorbing your body weight during landing.Oh Yeah, consult your physician before any rigorous martial arts type training!!!!!

Stop making excuses and squat. Start with light weights until you get the form right, and squat in a power rack. Get those two right and you're perfectly safe. Otherwise try hack squats, or deadlift. Neither are as effective as your standard squat, but they're "safer" and will make your legs grow.Ultimately, if you want bigger, stronger legs you have to squat. So learn to do it safely, and just get them over with.

I was getting another opinion, jerk. Seriously waht the hell is wrong with you, it's supposed to be supportive, why would I ask a question and then not take it into consideration. It's cool though, you like to argue with kids half your age, thats fine.
