Now, I decided to post this after the most embarassing moment in my life. I laughed and rolled on the floor after one of my friends fell off their pogo stick. Broke a bone. Anyway, i was at his house, his family was their along with some other friends. They basically saying "WTF" as i laughed at my friend screaming out in pain.Thats not really the only situation, just the worst. I just find people getting hurt, funny, not sexual in anyway tho. I try try to hide it so no one thinks im a freak but that last episode didnt help much.I'll just like an idea about whats going on with me, can anyone help?

Pleased by pain?

I'm sorry, it just a reflex, I dont know. I wasn't abused or anything, nor did I know of anyone being abused. It's just funny to me I guess, I don't know why.
But to tell you the truth, I don't think your response really helps at all. I know I have a problem, thats why I'm seeking help. -
Hi there
There isn't anything wrong by finding slapstick humor funny, but... when it comes to people being seriously injured, there is. I don't really think there is anything you can do about what you find naturally funny, but please please please do your best to surpress it. Perhaps if you took some... I dunno, You're probably going to just dismiss this, but a little meditation could help. In your head, you *know* it shouldn't be funny, and if you train the rest of your head to agree, it probably won't be any more.
I'm sorry to hear about your friend, I hope he's doing alright.
Can I ask something?
Is it just people being *injured* or sickness/stroke/heart attack funny as well? -
To Java_addict:thanks, ill try it outBy the way, its only when people are injured. Of course I have the normal emotions(which is to feel a bit good but bad at the same time) when my enemy's sick or so but I don't flaunt it. To albeitmyself:I really can't think about mylself in their situation if its an almost instant reflex. Ill haveta train myself for that.

It sounds like...normal humor but taken to a new level. You know? Like I'll laugh when my Niece or someone stubs their toe, or my husband falls on his ass in the mud, it sounds like the same *kind* of humor, but just...taken to a new level, I'm not saying its unhealthy, but it could kinda screw things up if you one day pop and laugh at something serious.

I love jackass and what they do and I find most of the stuff they do hilarious. I dont think theres anything wrong with thinking its funny, and you shouldnt have to hide your emotions, if you feel it you should be able to express it. I would crack up if one of my friends did that, as long as I knew he wasnt in serious trouble.

Now that's funny. Probably because I never get that way. LOL Well, as I said you're not very helpful. I've been teased for most of my life, cant really say I had good friends when I was younger. I have most definately been pushed and even bit the dirt and obviously this came with laughter. It really hasn't helped.

hugs do you think the teasing caused, or led to the laughing? or did the laughing start first?
